horcoff question

i was watching some of the kings/oil game from friday, and saw horcoff take a shot off the ankle...he limped to the bench and it didn't look too good. i was wondering if he's ok- i turned the game off shortly after that, and didn't notice if he missed any time, and if he did, will he play tomorrow vs. phoenix? thanks guys!

He came back shortly after. Also he was a little slow coming out in the third, but did start the period on the PK. He should be fine and ready to go from what I have read and heard, nothing too serious.

I think it was just a bit of a stinger.. he didn't seem hurt in the third period. Of course this is the Oilers we're talking about here though, he'll probably be out till next year's All Star break

that's definitely good to hear, if it's not too serious.

According to the Edmonton Journal on Sunday morning.....

Horcoff is "doubtful" for tonight's game vs. Phoenix...

That will hurt to loose him as he has been playing very good as of late, but we have 2 capable guys in the press-box Ales Hemsky and Jason Chimera who knows who will get the call but hopefully one of em can step up in a huge way and lead the Oil to a win and a huge 2 pts in the tight western confrence race. I BELIEVE!!!!

MacT was playing him to much anyway.Look forward to seeing Nedved and Stoll with more minutes.Horcoff is playing better than at the start of the year, but to be playing more than 20 minutes a night after Nedved showed up doesn't seem right.
