Boston Bruins -- I'm rooting for them to go all the way. I want to see Felix and Muzz hoist the Cup. I'm a HUGE Thornton fan ... he's just awesome. Andrew Raycroft has been solid this season. I like the make-up of that team and have always liked rooting for them. I love the Kings, but the Bruins are my second favorite team (a very distant second) and my favorite East Coast team. (Not to mention how often the Kings and Bruins trade players to each other or have some kind of connection through players... ex-Kings on that team and ex-Bruins on this team, lol)

Tampa Bay Lightning. I like them because they are exciting to watch. I follow individuals more than I follow teams.

I'll go for Calgary in the play-offs. I've been really impressed with their improvement since last season. With Iginal, Kiprosoff, and Leopold they've got SOME hope. I'm not sure who is gonna win it all though.

Well the Kings are actually my 2nd favorite team, (more like 1a). I root and watch religiously like they are my favorite. The Flyers are my favorite team so I can do it with teams in two different conferences.

And because I can and the Leaf fans did it with Ranger fans, I am opening the invitation to any Kings fan who wants to root for the Flyers in the playoffs to come on over, if the Kings do in fact miss the playoffs (which I think is now apparent)

Toronto Maple Leafs! What a team! And, they're built for the playoffs. Lots of gritty players that will stand up for each other. Like lots of players from Philly also.

Hoping to see in the final four!

Detroit vs Colorado

Toronto vs Philly

Any of those four would make for a great Stanley Cup.

Those would make a couple of great series! Good call!

I would like to see the Flames make a deep run.

sharks are probably my 2nd favorite team, (i know pacific conference and all, can't help it), i like a lot of thier players, they're fun to watch, and they're going to represent california.

from the west i'll also be rooting for the oilers and flames, but i really just want to see the usual powerhouses lose (colorado, detroit, vancouver, st. louis).

in the east, i don't have to many preferences other than new jersey losing. tampa is amazing to watch, and boston is pretty fun as well. for gkj's sake i'll watch some philly games and lend them my vocal support.

Buffalo Sabres - I was a huge fan of LaFontaine back in the day and have been following them ever since.

Phily Flyers - a distant 3rd.

I like Edmonton, I guess, as a second. Really, I don't cheer for anyone but my boys L.A. I'd like to see Edmonton, Calgary, San Jose do well in the playoffs, Tbay in the East.

Is anyone else here getting sick and tired of Detroit, New Jersey, Colorado, and Dallas? Let's see a new guard here. The last team to win besides these 4 was the Rangers in '94. Yikes!

I had a mate on the Nordiques (18 games worth) when I first were introduced to hockey (as well as two on the Kings back then) and I were a fan of theirs until they moved to Colorado. I happened to have a chance to be in Ottowa (its more than a state its a state of mind!) for the gayest thing I have ever seen. It were their first NHL game (Sens). They had this opening "event" where there were young lads dressed as gladiators dancing on skates down these giant slide sort of things and running about in skirts and such.

It were a true humliation for everyone involved including the spectators. I felt bad for everyone there including myself. That said, I have been a fan of the team since that day. I started out as a fan of the town, if you have a chance to go to Ottowa you might well should. Amazing place. Then they drafted a couple of lads I thought were special and here we are.

Of course, I don't like half as much as the Kings but, I do follow them. I have a mate in California who took me to that game in Ott and he has almost made the swap completely to following them.

(after having to take Andys "accountability" nonsense, i were right close myself yesterday)

Like said b4 i like Tampa Bay, they really are exciting to watch especially with Martin St. Louis, a great player. Last year in the playoffs i was really routing them on when they played the Devils. Go Tampa!

My second favourite team is the Sharks (I know, I know, I've heard it all before). I'm very excited about what they're accomplishing this year, but I wish there weren't two more Kings/Sharks games this season... it's brutal!!

Tied with the Sharks for me is the early 80's Isles. I followed them for a long time afterwards, but I don't really get to see them enough now to know the team very well... so the current team is sort of neutral for me.

In the playoffs, obviously I'd love to see SJ do well, plus Edmonton, Calgary in the West. In the east - Boston, Tampa, Toronto (mainly the Original 6/Nolan factors there...), Montreal.

I'm also sick of Colorado, Dallas and St. Louis. I hope they all burn out in the first round!

My 2nd Favorite team are the Devils, ever since Brodeur entered the league I have been following that Mickey Mouse Organization. I respect what they have done... wish the Kings would do that....

But in the Playoffs I am rooting for the Senators they have a lot of offense, and other organizations follow what is successful so hopefully the league will get more offense.

I like Nashville too.

1) Kings -BAR NONE- Nobody can touch the Kings on my list
2) Blue Jackets
3) Predators (Favorite Player is Hamhuis, I switched from Visnovsky to Hamhuis.)

i don't necessarily have another favorite team but if i'm going to root for someone its going to be the preds...seems like alot of us like the underdog here...
