avs id say are 90% to go with a biron/budaj combo next year, either way you cut it, its a massive upgrade over budaj/raycroft lol

normally even little signings like this are picked up within 5 min of when they are posted on a site like tsn,
anywhoo,
all colorado needs is a starter. lots of forwards., lots of defencemen, and blue chip propects.

Did you decide to stop reading after "starter"?

Budaj can be an excellent backup, as seen when Theodore was there. It looks pretty likely that Biron will go to the Avs in a few days so the goaltending shouldn't be that bad. Nice signing.

It's nice to see the Avs are starting the tank early this year.

Budaj is a good backup and solid spot starter.

If Biron is signed and they go with Biron/Budaj then I think that Avs will be strong in goal.

Agreed. The Avs look to be in good shape if what is expected to happen does happen. The contract is fairly cheap and not lengthy so I like it.

It's just about fine for a backup. Perhaps a tad much.

Sigh. As an Avs fan, I don't want Budaj anywhere near my team

the only thing you could have said that was worse is that we're trading for theodore (at least raycroft's cheap)
