TSN's 2011 Final Draft Ranking lists Jurco's skating ability as excellent.
I agree his last regular season in the QMJHL was nothing special, but he was baking cakes in the playoffs and had an amazing Memorial Cup. That seemed to really peak interest and is why I think we might be surprised Friday by how early he is picked.
-also of note, he performed very well in the combine - he is very strong.
