Mike York. Good man.

Oilers have to win out pretty much, don't they?

Pisani with another point. I will never doubt another weird signing by Lowe ever again.

Thats quite the understatement. In fact, if there is a way to get 3 points for a win, the Oilers should go for it.

It's too bad that when the other team pulls the goalie in OT, you don't get credit for the point they lose. That way Lowe could bribe Wayne to pull his goalie in OT and give the Oilers 3 points

How is it an understatement? If they win out, they're in the playoffs.. likewise, I think 3 wins and a tie/loss might be enough to get in if Chicago manages to get their act together.

Great game by Oates so far.. that pass to Bergeron in the slot was a thing of beauty. Oates has been a lot more noticeable of late and he now has 3 points in 3 games.. this is a great time of year for him to finally start finding his offensive game! Man, Derek Morris has really taken a step back in his development.. he completely missed the net on that PP in the middle of the slot and he has had his pocket picked a couple times. I'd much rather have Brewer than him at this point. Comrie has been having a pretty good game, he's looked dangerous all night.. pretty easy for the Oilers d-men to rub him out though!

Understatement as in..... Yes, they need this win, VERY BADLY. Not only is this a must win game, its a MUST MUST win game. Is that better?

Dvorak isn't a great goalscorer

but that doesn't mean he should be trying to find Nedved when he's 10 feet within the net either.

Nice to see that line changing from MacT paid off, ie put 94 with 20-93 and then York came out with Pisani and Oates.

The Fergy/Staios pairing is terrible and Brew is having an off night. Bergeron really looking to score tonight

Staios has been invisible for a while now, and the only logical explanation for having Ferguson in instead of Semi is that Alexei is hurt and would be a liability.

Agreed.. Dvorak has had a number of chances in the past month that he's passed up on in an attempt to find Nedved. Sometimes the best play is to blast a low shot and hope for a rebound..

York is rounding into shape nicely!

Mike just needed a little game conditioning to get his timing back.
