Qualifying Offers Extended

Per Blueland Blog:

The Thrashers have extended qualifying offers to:

Colby Armstrong
Jordan LaVallee
Scott Lehman
Kari Lehtonen
Grant Lewis
Jim Slater
Boris Valabik

The following players were not offered QOs:

Chris Thorburn
Dan Turple

Please note that the Thrashers are in active contract talks with Chris Thorburn even though he wasnt tenedered a qualifying offer and an agreement will likely get done.

Not always up to date on these things, but I thought a few other guys were RFAs? Sterling, Crabb, and Kaip. Didn't see their names there so I was just curious.

And again, I could be wrong but I've got Oystrick, Wilson and Skinner as Group VI UFAs.

If I'm wrong, appreciate it if someone could tell me the status of our guys. Get kinda ticked at myself sometimes for not knowing, because I usually follow this stuff pretty well.

Crabb is also one.

This is one of the better NHL salary and contract resources you will find.

Got crossed up somewhere down the line. Probably because I hadn't bothered to look up anyone's status in like 6 months. At least I know now, thanks.

any word on whether Zubarev will come over? He apparently had a great playoff in KHL.

Interesting site. Looks like the Flyers and Avalanche are in a little bit of a pinch from a cap standpoint. Both happen to need a goalie. Hmmmmm.

The Flyers need a back-up. They've already signed Emery.
