If Eklund called it, why did he have to have Sportsnet confirm it?

He's like Toskala, but without the glitz.

Boucher on the 2008 Sharks:
12 6 2.18 0.917

Boucher not on the Sharks ('06 Hawks)
1 10 3.26 0.884

The '06 Hawks were about as crap as last season's Leafs, no?

If it's 2006-07 Emery, the team looks good. Knuble is gone, though. Maybe Grier is in?

And there is more evidence that he does, than he dosent. The Flyers will be very well off with these two. Hell Emery stats are going to be so damn good with our D that we will trade him at the deadline and ride Boosh all the way home!

never did understand why the flyers always do this, and yet you never see the good former players resign with the team when they are still productive like patrick sharp for example. There is a reason why you let these guys go!

Who was out there that would have been so much better as a backup than Boucher? He's always been a solid backup in his career. He was pretty damn good in San Jose last season too. Nice move, in my opinion.

At the end of the day Emery is the guy who is going have to step up, not Boucher.

Indeed. The flyers have great defence and good offence and then your goalies are Boucher and Emery! I don't get it. Why would you think this will work out?

See ya Nitty.

I like the signing, it super cheap. I guess they really trust Emery is going to be good.

This. I think this is a good signing as well. Emery isn't the best to be paired up with though.

I fail to see the logic in this one.

So, is Emery now your STARTING goalie!?!?

Bouchy would be a good pick-up for a team with an established goalie.

yikes.

Do know why the Flyer management would go with these two? Like I said in my previous post: good offence and good defence and then your goalies are Emery and Boucher!!

Why?

Interesting how the Flyers sell the farm for Chris Pronger, but our 2 goalies are about as cheap as you can get.

Again, Holmgren proves he is not the genius people once thought he was.
