Hell of a steal for a guy who has been nearly PPG his entire time in Nashville.

What the hell are you talking about? He returned from the IR exactly halfway through last season. I guess it takes quite a long time for news to travel to Saskatchewan.

I'm sure he was offered more by another team, but at the NHL awards, Steve was quick to praise the town of Nashville and the team doctors for sticking with him the whole time. Signing at a massive discount is good on him for showing the organization that he appreciated everything! Jose Theodore could take a page out of this guy's book!!

Wow. Very, very, very nice.

Or rather, goddamnit, they weren't supposed to be able to pull that off.

he played 98 games the past two seasons. Its been awhile since hes played an 82 game schedule or around there so its understandable that he didn't get 5 million or so a year. What does this have to do with saskatchewan anyway i'm not even canadian.

I love Sulli, great signing. This means a lot coming from a CBJ fan...I'm quite jealous tbh.

Sullivan said all along that regardless of what happened, he was keeping his house in Nashville and would likely retire there. His family loves it, his kids are entrenched in the junior hockey system, and he's always been very vocal about his love of the community.

I think that he could have likely gotten more somewhere else, but took the rate he did as a "favor" to the team, especially as it pertains to using the savings to sign someone else.

At any rate, we're very glad to have him back. He's long since replaced Scott Walker as the iconic "Predator" and face of the franchise.

he has actually only played 41 games in the last 2 seasons.

i think its a little high, but not much, and for what he adds to the team as a leader, the extra money is worth it. now there is a huge risk, but could be huge reward. we will see. either way, happy to have him stay here. he turned this team around when he finally came back
