What is our lineup going into the playoffs?

What lines will we use in the playoffs?

Whitney - Yzerman - Thomas
Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Hull
Shanahan - Lang - Holmstrom
Maltby - Draper - McCarty

I'm just not so sure if Stevie will be playing center in the playoffs. If he does, then I'm sure Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Hull will be back together.

Whitney-Lang-Yzerman
Thomas-Datsyuk-Hull
Shanahan-Zetterberg-Holmström
Maltby-Draper-McCarty

Mowers to strengthen GR, Williams first back-up forward.

All lines have shown chemistry this season.

Lidström-Schneider
Hatcher-Chelios
Fischer-Rivers/Dandenault/Kronwall

Manny in goal. Only if Manny is struggling and Cujo is 100% healthy, then Cujo.

PP-lines:

Shanahan-Lang-Holmström
Lidström-Yzerman

Hull-Datsyuk-Zetterberg
Whitney-Schneider

PK units:

Maltby-Draper
Lidström-Hatcher

Shanahan-Zetterberg
Fischer-Chelios

McCarty-Yzerman
Hatcher-Schneider

- Safe to say Whitney and Yzerman will play together..... just a matter of if Shanny is flanking them or whether Lang will be centering them.

- Same with Hull and Datsyuk, looks like at this point Thomas may be the third on this line, but I don't think he's brought much to the Combo or any line in a while. The grind line will probably be reunited, so Zetterberg could still be inserted to make up the two kids and a goat line.

- Grind line

- This leaves a line with Holmstrom, Lang/Shanny and Thomas/Zetterberg

Hatcher has been playing with Chelios the last couple games, so I think the pairings will be:

Lidstrom - Schneider
Hatcher - Chelios
Fischer - Rivers

They have the past few games.

I'll say:
Whitney - Lang - Shanahan
Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Hull
Holmstrom - Yzerman - Thomas/Williams
Maltby - Draper - McCarty/Williams/Dandenault

Lidstrom - Schneider
Hatcher - Fischer
Chelios - Rivers/Dandenault

Wow, these pairings are killer. 1st pairing will just burn you if they are given the oppurtunity. 2nd will.......just kill you. 3rd has no outstanding ability but can hold down the fort.

We should try to match up our offensive d-men with stay at home d-men. That way if Lidstrom for examples pinches in offensively, you know you will have a guy backing everyone up...

I would go something like this:
Lidstrom-Hatcher
Schneider-Chelios
Fischer-Dandenault

But Whitney and Yzerman have been lighting it up the last two weeks, First with Williams and the last couple games with Shanny, so I highly doubt Lewis would break up Whitney and Yzerman for the playoffs.

Rivers over Dandenault, Dandenault hasn't played D regularly for awhile.... plus he'll be rusty coming off injury.

Lidstrom can play either role.

Man that is some sick talent. If our boys are healthy and motivated, us Wings fans are going to have lots of fun this spring (and hopefully into the early summer!).

Yes but he is a good offensive threat and pairing him with Hatcher will allow us to use this threat.
