Yeah he had to have been saying "look I had a career year in points and a lot of that had to do with me playing on the top line a lot so I deserve near top-line dough!" and the CBJ had to have been saying "a career year and it still wasn't THAT great! Sorry." *But that's just MY speculation*

I'm thinking Montreal in 2003-04 with Theodore and Garon? Edmonton had Deslauriers as well as Garon for a bit too last season.

On the other hand Pahlsson is a guy with a boatload more valuable playoff experience... a guy who stepped it up big time when the Ducks won the Cup. I guess if we're speculating, maybe Malhotra wanted a certain amount and the BJ's thought "you know, if we're going to spend that much on a checking line center, we can get more value going with this guy over here..."

Actually a good signing by the Jackets. Pahlsson's a gritty (and sometimes a good dirty) player and Garon will do the job being Mason's backstop

And to the above as it concerns the Pens, this is where Biron could enter the picture
