Too bad about Begin..I just hope he is ready come playoff game #1.

As for who was practising with who, Julien has shown us before not to put too much stock in that.

Well even if he dosen't play tomorrow, this has to be good news...as for Kovalev playing with Juneau and Bulis, i woulnd't be surprised if that's what CJ decides to go with, at least Kovalev will be playing on his right wing

Habs were winning BEFORE Kovalev came to Montreal with these lines: Dagenais-Ribeiro-Ryder Perreault-Koivu-Zednick......... Why wouldn't Bulis play well with Kovalev??? I was hoping Kovalev would be placed on a third line... That gives us three lines having great scoring potential.

And the resting of players begins... Kovalev with Juneau and Bulis? I guess they're going to see if it works... Juneau does have some offensive vision, but has been counted on for defensive purposes for the better of the 3 years he has been here.

I guess Julien is trying to maximize his scoring punch... In the playoffs, great teams can roll their lines. Seeing as this is Juneau's last push, And the fact that he was on 3 teams that came very close... Maybe they want to maximise effort to his line, so that he can be an X factor... Already, with this line, they stuck the best forechecker, and stickhandler we have together... If it works, other teams will have trouble containing 3 lines that can add offense.

Not this again, we haven't been winning with these lines, and Perreault been horrible since the 1st game of the home and home vs. the Devils, why dosen't anyone see this?!

CJ is experimenting too much, enough with juggling the lines, with 3 games left he should be able to have the lines ready for playoffs. I hope CJ's inexperience wont blow our chances to go far in the playoffs. As for Perreault and Dagenais I had enough too.

With Juneau down the middle, and bulis on the wing?

Common who on that line is gona set up Kovalev, Juneau?

I dont think so. CJ is just messing around. Plus do you realy think a top two line player would play on the third line and be effective in a checking role?

I dont think so.

I agree with everything your saying Van-Hab. Dont doubt CJ though, im sure he knows what he is doing. Maybe he is just messing with the media.

I like messing with the media concept or even stay away from the media all together, media circus in Quebec is vicious. I wish we would play the last 3 games away from Bell centre too.

DAMN. RDS is reporting that Kovalev will play on the 3rd line. How can Kovalev produce if he's always with a new center & winger? I have lots of respect for Julien, but that's stupid.

This is a real nightmare...Really, this is the best way to make sure that Kovalev won't produce, CJ puts him on the 3rd line...With Joe Juneau!!! Jan Bulis is not the best playmaker or scorer, but at least he can make things happen but Juneau...the guy can't do anything in the other zone, he has a really weak shot, damn I hate that player so much...Probably a wake up call to Kovalev, but I'm sure that it is going to be really painful to watch...And me who thought that with the arrival of Dowd, I would not see Juneau in the line up anymore. I guess that I was wrong again.

Our team is really getting hit hard by the flu. Sounds like there is at least 4-5 guys suffering from it.

I am wondering if CJ is not doing this on purpose. I mean mixing up his lines so that their 1st round opponents don't get a great look at what will be the line combos.

It sure does seem risky to play with team chemistry this way. However, we have no inside information on this matter. I guess that if the players know exactly CJ's plan, then team chemistry might not be affected. It appears that CJ is a great communicator.

In CJ I trust

Not having Begin in the lineup tommorow could make a difference, seems like you guys are pretty happy we left this guy for you in the waiver draft, I'd sure like to have him back as an agitator to play with Mair.

Anyways you know how I feel about tommorow's game vs. the Isles, it's a must win, LET'S GO HABS!!!

LET'S GO SABRES!!
