There's only so many teams with cap space, just pick a team and twitter it. he got one right.

well, ya know way thats happening, its not cap relief for a rfa, its called an asset. Im not trying to be a dick but i was asking what u would give because dean lombardi needs to do something not becasue im giving away versteeg

I don't think that Tanguay will accept to sign a two years deal. If you want him, it would have to be on a multi-year 5M+ per deal IMO.

As for Kovalev, a two years deal around 4.5M$-5M$ per should do it.

Totally Agree! If Nolan would've played a whole season last year, no doubt he would've had between 35-45 goals last year. Will be exciting to see Shepp, Bruno, Butch , Pouliot. Clutterbuck, Miettnen and K. Brodzniak can slide up and down the roster. (Hopefully) both Koivu Bros. will seal the deal as far as our need for Solid centers. There is a lot of depth on this roster if they can manage both signings.

IMO..... all in all I think the Wild will be a better team this coming season.

Does anybody know what we can package with Harding to get a future star winger? Was thinkng anyone from the Hershey Bears.....like PMB's brother. Or Caputi from the Pens? We need more offensive prospects.

Those are actually not bad terms...we have a bona fide top line winger again. Now we need a bona fide top line center and top line right winger.

Likely lines would be (assuming Saku is signed):

Havlat - S Koivu - Bouchard
Brunette - M Koivu - Nolan
Clutterbuck - Sheppard - Miettinen
Pouliot/Boogaard - Olvecky - Brodziak

It would be a deeper team than last year, but the whole year will be spent trying to develop chemistry and adjusting to a new system. Lemaire couldn't keep his lines together at all, so hopefully Richards lets them play.

Mikko is a 1st line center, moreso than Saku at this stage, at least.

Also, we do not have Olvecky anymore, although he might still be signed to a two-way deal.

Francois could potentially be available I guess but Washington has enough young goaltenders as it is.

if they really got Havlat for 5mil per why not make a last pitch effort for Heatley? Bouchard, Sheppard and some combination of Zidlicky/Cuma/Pouliot/2010picks has to be a better offer then what edmonton has on the table.

Maybe, maybe not. He had good chemistry with Brunette and Nolan last year. He is lacking in speed, but he might work better as a big body with Havlat and Bouchard, assuming those are the wing pairings.

I suppose I did forget about Belanger in the fourth line center spot...but he is pretty forgettable.

Havlat isn't as good on LW. He plays better as a RW

I like what this guy is thinking....

Anywho, reading Havlat's tweets, seems he has unfinished business with the front office folks in Chicago. Here's his newest:
