Good luck pulling him out of the political threads.
Heard he has made some new friends over there

When I posted this it was pretty much for just JXC, and I knew he would never answer

I hate olympic seasons, they compress schedules, more injuries, the flyers always have players in it and they end up playing more games. I'd rather they not be represented, and have rested players.

UPDATE: Simon Gagne has been injured at Team Canada Camp and is not expected to return according to Darren Dreger's twitter.

Schneider to Vancouver, and e3 a week ago, e4 a few days ago is now being reported by the mainstream media as almost done. It will get done I am told.

Word this morning is that Bryan Murray is calling around and looking for a "new starting point" with Dany Heatley.

I opened a thread to discuss it, it's not just Camp Canada news if it's serious.

Something like

Nash-Crosby-Iginla
Gagne-Lecavalier-St. Louis
Morrow-Richards-Doan
Toews-Getzlaf-Carter
Eric Staal

Pronger-Jbo
Keith-Neidermeyer
Boyle-Regher
Phaneuf/Weber

Luongo
Brodeur
Ward/Fleury

Canada can ice, and will need to ice, a much strong D lineup than you have proposed. Top six will likely be Pronger, Neidermeyer, Boyle, Keith, Green and Seabrook. From there, some options for the spares including Souray.

I was just watching Sports Centre - today at camp Richards was centering Iginla and Toews, while Carter was on Thornton's wing with Staal on the other side.

Those would be fun lines to watch. CBC also said that Richards led the stretches, and something to the effect of there being something symbolic about that.

So the only difference is that you would take green and seabrook over jbo and regehr? Total disagree on that one.

Jeff Carter and Team Canada

Looks like Jeff Carter is just taking it all in (the experience of playing with Canadian stars and representing in the Oylmpics).

Looks like he's having a good time.

Maguire quoted as saying that Cannon and Carter were the best two skaters on the ice yesterday. I'm stoked for the start of this damn season, these baseball highlights are like watching paint dry.

Slight error. I am pretty sure it was Bob McKensie saying that they were the 2 best skaters on the ice, Great to hear
