Not bad, hopefully they're still working away at getting Zubov back as well.
And Leopold remains out there.

Skrastins is a solid depth defender. his Goals against while on ice per 60 minutes of ice time was 2.15, which was the best on Florida by a defenceman and better then anyone's on Dallas last year.
If we got him cheap it's a smart signing, especially since Skrastins brings it every night and never gets injured (or if he does, he plays through it like a warrior)

Very underrated defenseman...He was our third best defenseman last year behind JayBo and Ballard. He is a shot blocking machine. Dallas will love him.

Jesus Christ. I'd have loved him on the Caps even at 2 per. How the hell is this guy so underrated?

Yeah, from the looks of it he had 50+ more blocked shots than Dallas's top shot blocker, Daryl Sydor.
I'm happy with this move, hopefully there are more coming!

Dallas fans will love Skrastins, he's a workhorse and blocks a ton of shots.

I'm still holding out hope for a Zubbie signing. I have confidence the Stars will match whatever offer they get for him

Grossman
Skrastins
Nisky
Hutch has a one way

Wow this might be the steal of the off-season. Skrastins was one of the better defensive defensemen in the NHL last season and he signed for $1.3M per.
Good job Dallas.

Great Turco-centric signing. Skrastins is the guy you want to have in front of an inconsistent goalie at all times. Turco's GAA just went way up.

I myself think Zubov will either retire or go somewhere else. I think his time here in Dallas is over....
Fistric could be bundled up with a prospect and a pick in next years draft for someone.
Vish will be in the D rotation.

Nothing flashy about Skrastins but he works hard and is a stellar shot blocker. And a good price tag. Nice move by Dallas.

Great signing by Dallas. Very underrated. Would of liked to have seen him on Toronto sometime if it wasnt for the rebuild. Great signing. My father-in-law will love to hear about this.
