The only guys I could see being drafted are Flüeler and Conz, but I wouldn't be surprised if no Swiss players are picked.

conz is #53 in the THN draft preview. so they see something in him. and it would surprise me if a almost top50 guy from THN wouldn't get drafted.

Conz was surprisingly good for Geneva after their starting goalie got a season ending injury, but on the other hand he wasn't that impressive at the world juniors, which weight a lot in the draft ranking.

and compared to draft habits of most teams, he's a midget. 5'10/5'11 is pretty small for a goalie these days. this won't help him either.

but he should nevertheless get drafted. he's a project, worth a risk IMO.

zecke ... you are German and still positive for the swiss and in fact always positive and respectuous ! (except when critics fly for Ralf )
Greetings to your good spirit.

Well, better have one year with Sbisa and Josi followed by one year with no one than severall late round pick that amount to nothing every year. Remember, René Stüssi was drafted too.

Yeah, but don't put your head down, Ambuhl and probably Wick are going to play in the NHL next season.

You are right ... Swiss players, to the exception of Sbisa, entered thru the small dore.
Do you have any additional clue on Wick ?
In another thread you say that many NHL teams have interest in him ... it would be nice to know more about that !
