Do they still make it??
I loved it because it came in my length, was cheap- $20 and they last forever.
I am down to my last one. Ive been using it for about 7 months now. And I play roller and ice hockey 3x a week.

or were you saying its length at retail was perfect in relation to the flex?

the length was perfect. It was usually the longest stick I could find.
But it also lasted forever and it was damn cheap.

I shopped around this weekend, and I could find plenty of other sticks the correct length, but they we 60 bucks. Also the blades were way too short, and you could tell they would probably last 10 games max with how cheap the blade was.

Were you looking at expensive wooden sticks or cheap composite sticks?

expensive wooden sticks. But that was only because that was the only kind they had in my length. Im 6 4", so my stick is around 70 inches.
Can sombebody maybe recommend me a good stick? Nothing too expensive- under $40.
Not a big curve. The blade I would prefer long. I would prefer a blade that lasts. I play with a bunch of hacks.

I'm not sure how much the sherwood 5030 is but they are really popular, durable and well performing wood sticks from what I hear.

most popular stick in history.

they should be around $30-40. Unfortunately they are short.

The 9950 ($40-50) might be a better option height wise.

I was using the 9950 before I found the blue momentum one I posted in the first post.
The main issue I had with the 9950 was the blade would start to break apart after a months worth of games.

I guess Im gonna have to go back to it though, because Ive seen those around.

The .fr domain hints that the warehouse may be in France.

Tack on international shipping, the 34.50 euros becomes pretty hefty.

It says:
Disponibilité : Ce produit n'est plus disponible

Which means, that this product is not available anymore...

The ones (5030) I see now are not the Coffey curve but instead a Crosby on them ... if that matters to anyone at all.

I think the stick you are looking for is the one Crosby used in his rookie season, but his was black.

@Hockeyfan, Coffey and Crosby are the same thing. Not sure if you knew that or not

No, they're not. The Crosby curve (pp87, i believe) was different. They've never stopped putting Coffey's name on their sticks. Probably won't ever take it off. Crosby is a Rbk endorsed athlete.

The 5030 is made with Coffey, Bouchard (pp96), Stastny, pp10, and SPpp19 (Spezza).

The 9950 comes in Coffey, Stastny, and Spezza.

During his rookie season Crosby used a Momentum blade/shaft combo. Comp shaft with a wood blade.

That's not true. I had a couple of 5030s that had Crosby's name on them, but not Coffey's. The curve looked exactly the same, but I didn't take any measurements or anything.

Could have been misprints. According to SWD they've never done that.

I apologize. I was looking last night and Stastny and Crosby are labeled the same, not Coffey and Crosby.
