He is a college kid that the Kings signed as a free agent. He will most likely play in Manchester next season.

I have not seen him play.....but he says his strengths are his vision and passing. So I guess he considers himself to be a play making center.

He should fit right in.

From the few articles out there on him it sounds like big fish in small pond as far as his talent goes so it's uncertain if the offense is really going to translate at the AHL or NHL level.

Early in his career he would apparently get yanked in and out of the lineup constantly because his defensive play was not up to par, and going into his Senior year he got challenged to work on it during the off-season. He apparently improved enough to earn the coach's trust and got to skate in different situations with more responsibilities as the season progressed. How much of that was by choice or circumstance is uncertain because Ohio State had a lot of young players with very few Seniors in the lineup.

Granted that's all second hand summation from a bunch of different articles, but he's probably going to be turn out to be similar to Matt Moulson. A guy who is good at a lot of area, but not great at anything in particular.

I'd hope he could make me eat my words, but I'm thinking that won't be the case.
