I want to but I am moving to OH on the 11th ( why THIS year?) I might still be able to make one of the days if I get enough done early.

Oh, that sucks you won't be here for next season! I'm thinking of making a fun day out of Tuesday. Hawks prospect camp during the day then Sox game at night.

Not too much of a crowd today - not surprising because it was only practice. There is not a lot of room at Johnny's. That place could get quite full for the scrimmages. If anyone is interested, I took down jersey numbers:

I read that the practices were only open to media? I am heading down tomorrow. Is there any opportunity to get some autographs there?

I don't know about practices being limited to media - the schedule doesn't mention anything.

I read on the O-boards that autographs were available in past years, but I personally didn't see anyone this morning. I was not really looking though.

If anyone was there, how did Dylan Olsen look?

What's his upside, and what's the time table on him...?

David Phillips* 6' 3" 195 21 Beverly, UK Belfast (BriE)

Never heard of this guy but how does a guy from a UK league end up in a NHL training camp?

Erick6 @ CBH:
I had a chance to see some of the players today, They mainly just did a few skating drills. and a few breakout plays. Aliu & Beach are friends, IF they had any differences in the past its settled. So all the nonsence that they don't get along is bull. Beach looked awesome as well as LAlonde. I do note lalonde's speed. Aliu Still seems to be easily distracted by the crowd however still an awesome player! Aliu wore #11. Got to see pepin up and close he's a big dude. After their practice session Beach came over and spoke with some of us & is a real class act guy! I'm impressed! I did not know he was Rich Hardens cousin. I didn't get a chance to see how Dylan Olsen did I only watched him for a few minutes.

I don't think the problem between Aliu and Beach was that they didn't like each other, but that they enabled the less than mature behavior both are somewhat known for in the other.

It would be good news indeed to hear they are growing up.

Of the undrafted invites, I have interest in Stich. Thought he would get drafted in his draft year and was somewhat surprised he wasn't. Although most all undrafted invites won't get a shot, I thought he would be a possible to make it to the show.

Hey, just wondering if anyone could tell me how Billy Sweatt looks and if he is going to turn pro or not?

He's already said that he's not turning pro this year.

I'm pretty sure Sweatt has indicated he'll finish his senior year at CC.

He proved how good he was last year. I believe he is coming over just for training camp. I was hoping he would get a spot on this years Hawks but looking at our lineup right now. I dont see any open roster spots

I do hope he's coming over for training camp and I agree that he has very little left to prove at prospect camp.
