Dammit.

He was great in the Caps series...so I was looking forward to him moving west.

Good re-up.

Whew. Didn't want him in Minnesota. Good choice, Ruslan.

Only 1.8 million as per Trib-Review?!? That's 450k less than last season.

Balls, that would have been a signing I could get with. I think DW is Frankenstein and currently in his laboratory creating players, still looking for heart(s) though.

$1.8MM for 1 year is a no-brainer. Good job by Feds taking less to stay...Still leaves us with a few mill left to spend on a solid D and 3rd string goalie...

You know whats funny. He scored the same amount of goals as Gomez in ten less games.

I was torn about re-signing him. He is an inconsistent regular season guy that usually is money in the postseason.

1.8 million for 1 year? That's a damn steal imo.

He took a 1year deal for 1.8M to stay with the Penguins? What the ****....

Why didn't Shero offer him a 2 year deal? I mean he gave that to Rupp... cap hit is amazing... I would have liked a longer term.

Anyone know what Minny was offering?

I'm waiting for some kind of correction. Say, 2.5 mill or something. If 1.8 is right, that is a friggin steal.

That's a great contract. Might be why it's only one year though.

Surely he took a pay cut to stick with the Pens. Nice signing.

Yeah, who needs a guy that comes up big in the playoffs and was on pace for 20 goals before breaking his hand knocking out Colby Armstrong. Industrious forwards with decent scoring ability are such a waste of time.

Dave Molinari says 1.8, and he's pretty accurate. Great.

If it is indeed 1.8 (Trib tends to jump the gun before the facts are in) that's really good. I was afraid it was going to be something like 3.

Pens definitely have money for that number 6 guy, and will have cap room to spare for a backup goalie and call-ups.

The Gazette on the other hand makes sure their facts are straight, so that pretty much confirms it.

I think the Larose contract was a good market indicator for Fedotenko. I'm sure he was offered more, but I don't see anymore then $2.5MM per...He obviously wanted to say in the burgh...

It's not a knock on Fedotenko. It's just that Minnesota is filled to the brim with players like him. We need top-6 wingers, and Fedotenko isn't one.

Maybe not on their team, but on the Penguins he absolutely is.

Has any team ever had three or more players who've scored a GWG in game 7 of the SCF?
