Clearly this just goes to show you that America > Canada, and North America > the rest of the world.

And that Japan doesn't like dealing with customs.

Good news for me. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy this soon, since the text book I need for one of my classes is 135 dollars and I'm trying to ease up on spending since I spent 270 on new boxing gear last month, but it turns out I can get the book for 6 dollars on Amazon... I still probably shouldn't buy the game, but I'm going to now.

Just bought it at GameStop. The one I usually go to was sold out (good thing I called) but there's another within about 5 miles. I traded Fight Night Round 3 (I bought it used, without a book) and Skate 2 (bought it new, got very bored of it after a month or two), and ended up paying 31 dollars total. Haven't played it yet cuz I'm going to the gym in a little while, but I'll give my impressions eventually.

So for the other Canadians, the limited editions are 100% done.

EB has begun pre-orders for the July 29th standard edition release, and they recommend you do that sooner rather than later.

That sucks. On the plus side, I know I saw the soundtrack on the web, and I'm sure there is a copy of the instructional DVD floating around somewhere.

I think I was able to snag a L.E. on Amazon.ca. It was unavailable at first, so I signed up to be notified when it did... it did, I purchased it, and now it's unavailable again, but my order is still there. As long as they don't pull some bushleague stuff, I think I'll have mine by the end of the month.

Honestly, if it hasn't already shipped I can't imagine you'll get a copy. I've had that experience with Amazon a few times already this year.

My advice is to leave the order open anyway, but go throw down $5 in an EB/Gamestop. I still have an order pending on Amazon as well, but I expect nothing from them at this point.

So I've been playing Blazblue since it hit arcades back in November (My arcade actually got it in December.)

This game is crazy just like Guilty Gear and a whole lot of fun. The game has a slower pace then GG did but it's still a lot of fun.

Ark Systems may have only given us 12 characters, but that's just how GG was. I'm sure we'll see many sequels for a game like this.

All in all, if you have the chance don't miss getting Blazblue.

It's been a while since I played a game that I was so bad at.

Even losing over and over, this game is all sorts of fun.

OK I think I'm getting better at it now. The Instructional DVD that comes with the limited edition is really helpful for at least getting to know the bread and butter combinations and strategies for the characters.

Arakune's my dude/blob/ghost/BEES

Haven't checked out many vids of Arakune, but he looks like a miniature Sachiel.

I want to try Rachel once I get my hands on the game, but she looks incredibly complicated.

I never saw Spirited Away, but Arakune reminds me of the ghost thingies that were in that movie.

Rachel is a great character, although I don't like her because she makes my Arakune game quite difficult with her crazy wind manipulation mixed with projectiles. Nothing tops Nu (v-13) when it comes to decimating my Arakune though. That robo-***** is mean. BANG is perhaps the most awesome of all awesome that has ever been awesomely awesomed.

Yep; definitely looks like a No-Face from Spirited Away.

I'm actually starting to get somewhat decent, for someone playing with a 360 controller. I got my first 3 hate messages today (one was particularly funny), so that means I'm getting better.

Do they have it in any arcades around you?

(Wow, I just realized I haven't been to an arcade in like 5 years)

Hrm, got my arcade stick today at least. Sort of pissed because it's obviously a refurb, but whatever.

What brand is it? And how much did it cost? The d-pad (or rather, my inability to consistently double-QC to the left) has cost me a handful of games where I SHOULD have used my Distortion Drive immediately after a throw, but ended up doing some other input.

My win/loss ratio started off pretty terrible, but it's getting close to 50% now. I also had a 5 game series with a level 34 Noel player (I'm a level 16 Arakune)... He won the first two, both in three close games, but I ended up winning the third in three, fourth in two, and fifth in three. I'm starting to understand other character's tendencies, which definitely helps.

It's a cheaper HORI stick, cost $50. Better than nothing.

Finally got my copy (PS3 version). I'll give it a whirl this weekend. Got it from VideoGamesPlus.ca (A Canadian retailer).

If you're still looking for a copy of the limited edition for the 360 (Think they sold out for the PS3), you can get it from them, though the price is steep ($80 + 5%Tax + $3 Shipping).

Just bought the limited edition for 360 from Best Buy ($59.99 -- sweet!).

About to start it up.

If it's more balanced than Street Fighter I'll be all over this. Street Fighter may have a larger character selection, but there's really only 3 characters you play on that game if you're serious.
