In terms of offensive contribution from the blue line, Hatcher.

he was alright, maybe even good at best. History seems to point towards his brother Derian as the better defenseman, and as I am writing this I am thinking that Derian definitely was the better player.

What? Hatcher wasn't half the d-man that Housley was. Similar style but that's it.

So will Mike Green.

Green's 23 and was a first team all-star. At 23, Chara was still a bum for the Islanders.
