barker is easily the worst defensemen of the group. he's very good offensively, but is really lacking defensively.

weber
keith
suter
seabrook
hamius
barker

edge goes to nashville

I'll go with the Hawks trio, but in a couple years, I could see a new Nashville trio that includes Ellis having the edge.

3. Weber
4. Seabrook
5. Hamhuis
6. Barker

It's very close overall. Small edge to the Preds trio.

In my (possibly biased) opinion

Weber VS. Keith..........could be argued either way

Suter VS. Seabrook...........Suter

Hamhuis VS. Barker.............Hamhuis pretty easily at this point.

Why is Barker listed over Campbell? Barker is our fifth defender...

Looking at this thread, Hamhuis and Suter are severely underrated. Anyways this is how I would rank:

Duncan Keith

Ryan Suter
Shea Weber
Brent Seabrook
Dan Hamhuis (the best defensive defenseman)

Cam Barker
