Sawada will probably be in Dallas, so that'll clear a space.

That's what I hope, but I left him on there just in case.

Benn-Wandell-Wilson
Korostin-Lindgren-Sceviour
Gazdic-Gagnon-Beaudoin
Neal-Peters-Shelast
Wathier

What do you think?

When you add the defenders and goalies, Texas could have a very successful first season.

Vishnevskiy-Stafford
Jancevski-Stephenson
Ludwig/Monast-Fortunus

Climie
Krahn

Once again Heika fails at reporting.

The number placement on the whites is... odd. You'd think they'd center them underneath like on the blacks since they have the same arching wordmark.

I can't understand why they selected a new font either for the wordmark. It's not like either of them read "Dallas" so it wouldn't be the same. And it's not consistent with either font that appears in their reworked, awkward logo.

Overall they're just as boring and bland as ours except they don't look as classy/understated.

I like the white one but that dark one is hideous. That stripe at the bottom is terrible, even if its more gold than yellow.

What I said earlier in the thread, that they were going to be carbon copies of the big club.

One other thought - the socks and the wide gold stripe at the hem give off a distinct Bruins vibe, not Stars.

couldn't agree more again... it's bad enough for the stars to be going all black and gold on us... but even if they have to do that, stick to gold. black and yellow isn't really our color scheme.

maybe it is for austin, though...

Yeah it does from those pictures. Its hard to tell but I have a feeling that color is alot more like the gold color the stars have used than the yellow it appears to be.

I wish the stars would sort of rip off and slightly alter the London Knights jersey design.

Why can't sports teams just create a good jersey? Is it that hard?

Jerseys with actual color are illegal to some teams, always must use black, or in baseball pinstripes or gray! Instead of using actual colors that teams did use at one point, before changing to pinstripes, gray and white in the late 80s and 90s I think. A few teams are a exception to this.
Even high school hockey teams have better jerseys then the Stars' vanilla style.

It's actually more surprising when Heika breaks a story. I think that happens once a year.

My guess?

Gives em all motivation to get into the slightly less crappy Stars jerseys. Anything would be an upgrade over those, blech.

Went to the arena about an hour ago and took some pics for you guys. The new jerseys are supposed to be in on Friday, I work all day so I won't have any pics for you but I'll try to soon enough... Heres inside the CPC.

If it wasn't on a Wednesday, I would be to. I think a lot of Stars fans would've traveled down there had it not been for it being in the middle of the week.

I agree Lobo. I'm not really sure why they would want to do it on a Wed.? I guess they wanted several days before opening day?
