Good news obviously. I'm glad I'll get to see him live because I'm going to the Flyer game thursday.

We should tank our game tomorrow just so Buffalo doesn't make it. That would be a sweet payback for the cheapshot they threw on Souray.

I love that file photo. They use the same one every time they do a write up on Souray. That dumbass grin makes me laugh every time.

Maybe, but if Ribeiro and Ryder don't start playing like they did a month ago, it will continue. Their fall-off, especially Ribeiro's, has been the biggest reason we've slumped. But it's only been a few games, so I'm not worried yet. As long as they come out hungry for round one of the playoffs, it's all good.

And Zednik as cooled off a lot... he's not playing like at the beginning of the month

That's true too, but in Zednik's case, he still seems to be getting chances. Ribs has been just about invisible unless he's making defensive blunders. Like I said, though, it's only been 3 games, so I'm not going to call for anyone's head yet. They could lose the next three, for all I care, as long as they get it on in the playoffs. The problem is, it's tough to do that when your confidence is low. A nice three-game run could improve that greatly.

Article says that Quintal, Brisebois and Bouillon are down with the flu. I hope it is some rare and deadly Asian bird flu so some playing time will open up for Komisarek and Hainsey soon.

Rivet, Markov, Komisarek, Souray, Dykhuis and probably one of the flu victims.

Gazette this morning said they won't decide until this afternoon's skate whether Souray plays or not. It also said that Komi will probably sit if Souray plays and made no mention of Quintal, Brisebois or Bouillon so I guess they all made the trip.

I assume you want the team to lose in the first round 4 games to none then.

Darz, you have to get a better view of the big picture. It's not about winning, it's about being right. I find your myopia astounding. I'm still pissed about Alfie Turcotte not getting more of a chance.

LOL!!

Actually, I still remember thinking Turcotte was going to be a star. Man did he have a big year in the WHL in '82-'83...
