He still didn't trade anything to Atlanta.

I'm going to say Carle for Eminger and Downie, then Eminger for Welch and a 3rd are two pretty horrible trades.

Philly is trying to dump Carle (or that's what it seems fans want), Florida did dump Eminger.

If Eminger for Welch and a 3rd is "pretty horrible" what does that make it for the Panthers? Eminger only had 4 less points in 5 less games so it's not like Carle was that much better.

I don't get the jokes.

It isn't like he was signed to be on the big team next season. He is just a depth guy for Chicago. They aren't going to give him a roster spot over Valabik who showed a lot promise last season or Salmela who also has solid potential. In terms of NHL ability Oystrick definitely beats him out for the role of 7th d-man. I don't think he beats out Grant Lewis either. Realistically he is a 9th d-man... Is that even a real term?

Yeah they signed Krog, MacIntyre and Welch. Also tried to sign Kwiatkowski...

But don't forget that they need to replace Motzko, Hamilton, Stevenson, Wilson, Skinner, Sterling, Machacek (probably), Pavelec (probably) and more. So far their team is not better than last year.

Surprised the Caps haven't picked him up, they're usually all over mediocre ex-Penguins.
Not mediocre. Underappreciated. Unloved. Uncherished.
