Eklund: Schneider to Montreal (reasonably priced) a possibility (E3)

http://twitter.com/eklund

I know, I know..

1. I say anything of interest should be posted, since it can tend to get boring here in the summer.

2. I know people get angry when Eklund is posted

I think Eklund thinks the Habs should sign Schneider and give him the C.

Problem is, they're already pretty loaded on D.

The only way this could happened is if we trade Hammer.

Maybe Bob will try to move someone from our D,who knows. If he signs Schneids, there's a trade coming shortly after that's for sure.

Does Martin have a history of using defenseman as forwards?

I agreed with what you were saying until I thought if in reverse. Why not make the trade FIRST then resign Schneider??

Ultimately, it's Ek so why bother. I already wasted 2 min of my life I won't get back.

Sources are telling me that Mathieu Schneider is considering an offer to rejoin the Habs and serve as team captain. This is one move the HABS should make in my opinion. NOW.

Please trade Eklund to a place where there's no internet. For the good of all.

Poor Ecklund...

You people realise that a large part of his traffic comes from Montreal. He has to feed them rumors to keep them "hitting" and it's so difficult now, when it's pretty clear the signings are done...

Where is a Sundin saga when (Eklund) needs it....

Lol no kidding. The Montreal board alone has more posts than the SE and Central division combined!

About that, ive been thinking, is HF boards the only site to speak of hockey or are there others. Mayeb it's just the one most popular on the east cost....

I mean, is it that bad, or really, some other hfboards for west coast teams.. I mean even in the chicago and detroit division, not many posts.

I agree, and I think that this would be a good move as long as its one year.

Moving Hammer really lets bob have options at the trade deadline this season.

Schneider as Captain for 2 million and this opens the door next year for some new blood on Defence.

Eklund reads the Habs board here at HF for sure, someone here suggested this a few days ago.
