Lucic lost the only time he went with an actual heavy-weight:

Yeah, I'm amazed there's still people argueing that he didn't lose that and it was a tie...
They went toe to toe and Lucic broke ranks and went into defensive mode and still got finished and dropped by punches then covered up, that's pure domination in a one on one hockey fight. TKO

That being said, I always liked Lucic, loved him as a Junior playing for Canada and owning the Ruskies. Then he got drafted by Boston, at least with Komi being a turn coat I can kind of like him for doing what he did twice.

I can have respect for my enemy but a turn coat is another story.

With a new coaching staff and a bump in size I hope someone gets teh tap on their shoulder once Big 8 is on the ice. (Him and grabovsky, taking out Markov at the end of a lost game at the end of a lost season, OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!).

He probably won't pass the Olympic drug testing.

I think neil is in his class, even though lucic has 3 inches on him it seemed pretty even. moen-lucic should happen next season especially if he still won't fight laraque.

but with all that aside, habs fan BIAS out of the way, and the HATE for the bruins out of the way

i like how we can all appreciate, what a good player lucic really is basicaly, tough as ****, decent speed for his size, and can score the occasional goal, and a JOY to watch when he ISNT facing the habs (lets be honest), i for one am proud he is a canadian , (no, not a shot at komi being american), and would love to see him on maybe the 4th line come the vancouver olympics

having said all that, i beleive we have a smiliar player in travis moen that im still creaming in the pants from acquiring
Trust me, it won't last long. After the Habs play the Bruins once it will be over.

I hate Lucic. Hands down the greasiest player between the two teams the last two years.

Wasn't that the fight Lucic apparently got his nose broken?

lol seriously what is Lucic doing there? The only people that know him are die-hard hockey fans and Bruins fans.

Dwight and Serena have international appeal.

He's the one player that plays for the enemy that I truly love, I hope he makes team canada, he deserves to be there.

Lucic is young, and he is a good player, but he has a lot of good forwards to beat out. I'm sure the next time he wears a Team Canada jersey it will be at the World Championships when the Bruins are knocked out of the playoffs.

I'm guessing a Habs fan was responsible for selecting that jersey. There's no way that was an accident.

Totally agree. I feel genuinely conflicted as a hockey fan watching him play. Totally kicks ass as a player. Not sure about team Canada, but the fact that it's on North American ice (size) favours his chances a bit -- it'll be easier for a guy like him to play his hard hitting game without worrying about getting caught out of position like he might on a larger surface.

I don't think he'll make the cut, personally, but wouldn't be surprised if he did, either.

WOW did John Erskine ever put the boots to him... Wow.

Neil also did a pretty good number on him too, pretty even overall though.

Love Lucic on the whole, can't wait to see him go with Moen.

I like his play but the dude is public enemy number one. That would be like loving Terry O'Reily or Stan Jonathan when the feud was at its peak.
