The Kings have 9 Euro's combined between the Kings roster and all of their prospects.

Kopitar, Handzus, Frolov, Ersberg, Ivanans, Moller, Voinov, Loktionov, Andersen. And I can see 3 being traded in the near future!

It's quite the change from the days of Dave Taylor.

Yeah, that's terrible, especially since six of them are some of our most talented players!

I don't think it's terrible, but it's vastly different than when we were Team Slovakia west.

I know Reaper, I was just messing with ya. Obviously a good mix of both seems to produce a winning combo.

And I care about what "Grapes" thinks because . . . ?

um, er, because he's got such a wonderful wardrobe? NOT. and NOT AT ALL, and not in that order.

Grapes is funny enough to listen to, but doesnt have much of a clue. His thought process is a runaway train, always on the verge of jumping off the tracks. I enjoy him the way I'd enjoy an episode of Trailer Park Boys or something.

I think some people completely missed the point of this thread. It really has nothing to do with Don Cherry and everything to do with the fact that the Kings aren't a big European team. Just pointing out a simple fact.

Oh, in that case, our Euro's are better (or will be better) than their Euro's.

yet amazingly, none of them are German

gotta say though, what are the odds Ivanans would really be here by the end of next season? I mean c'mon. Andersen? doesn't he have like a 0 percent chance of making the NHL anytime soon?

Ivanans and Andersen are goners for sure. And Ersberg and Frolov have a high probability of being dealt imo.

Why Ersberg? I think it would be a huge mistake if we dealt him. Neither Bernier nor Quick will be happy playing second fiddle to one another and we have no other goaltender in the system that is ready to take on the responsibility. Ersberg should be our backup for a while.
