there are sports bars with some decent food across from the garden that im sure people watch the away games at. it's probably not an extremely rowdy atmosphere, this isnt a rabbid hockey town just yet. there is a decent bar in brighton (i think its brighton) called the joshua tree. personally i hate it cuz im not a fan of the bar crowd, but there is plenty of seating, multiple large TV's, and decent appetizers.

Bruins have the smallest fanbase. Come playoff time, everyones been a fan for life, but in the dead of winter, it's tougher to find gatherings

Hmmm that's odd. They came in a fedex 2-day envelope. So they had to have been shipped out Friday last week at the latest. Maybe they went out of their way to get me mine a little early since I was pretty verbal with them about how pissed I was that they told me I wasn't getting any vouchers for a free game (as promised when I signed up for season tickets in March). They apologized and told me they were gonna try to give me a special "fan experience" at some point during the season. Being up in NH I usually get my Sox tickets the day after everyone in MA. I won't complain

Winter Classic tix registration

When NHL says Noon EST, why does that seem to mean "sometime before 1PM"?

Why this rule (for Canadian citizens only?):
Selected participant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question in order to be declared a winner.

Jesus, they're expecting hockey fans to do MATH now?

what other hoops must I jump through?

Please sir, may I have another???

it's probably just to prove that you are an actual breathing human, and not an automated program registering a zillion times.

for the record, i would jump through many many hoops if it meant i could score tickets to this thing

for the record, I will jump through more hoops than chuckdobbins. I will do 31 pull-ups, I will walk to boston in the snow, I will pay a gazillion dollars and answer jeopardy-level math questions in the form of a question.

I was just getting cranky hitting refresh.

I have a feeling we'll both be there, chuckdobbins.

Anybody have a link that shows which games are the gold level games for this season? It used to be on BostonBruins.com, but I can't find it there anymore. Thanks.

I have singleton ticket available for the NY Rangers preseason games (Couldn't get any tickets to a season game -- my vouchers came too late and I left town and couldn't get to the Garden to exchange them). Loge 14 Row 13; or if you want, Sec 318 Row 1.

PM me and I can still mail them to you in time. I will send to the first one who asks.

I have a pair of tickets for the preseason B's/Rangers game this Saturday (9/19) that I can't make it to. Balcony 310, Row 2. Asking less than what I paid, just $30 for the pair. If you want the hard tickets, you will need to meet me in the back bay area today or tomorrow. If that's not possible and you still want them I accept paypal and will email them to you. PM me if interested.
