Last row in the balcony is, IMO, the best place to watch a game in the Garden, except maybe for the press box.

I've sat next to the bench 5 rows from the ice and prefer the balcony, but hey, the tix were a gift, I'm not going to complain.

It's much more fun up in the upper reaches of the balcony.

This presale was a joke.

There were no tickets available for 10/31 against the Oilers (none AT ALL) so I just went to StubHub and got two tickets there in no time.

I had received an e-mail telling me to "Stay tuned for information on how to access your Cybear pre-sale!" but I never received any further e-mail about it.

I went in to try and get tickets but was locked out for opening night, which is really all I care about. I went the last two opening nights and it was great.

For those interested, Stubhub seems to have a lot of great tickets for short money. I look at it this way, you either pay Stubhub's fees, or Ticketmaster's fees. Lose - lose situation, but there seems to be more of a selection on Stubhub.

Well, that was fun.

Just tried to get tickets for a bunch of different games.

Tickets went on sale and I was there refreshing the page at 9:59:59.

EVERY game I checked had ZERO tickets available.

Within SECONDS.

F**king fair weather Boston fans jumping aboard. Disgusting.

Guess the B's will be like the Sox now for tickets... impossible to get, because all the fair weather "fans" with money are sucking up all the tickets and us real fans who followed the team through all the rough patches are left out to dry.

Good times.

As long as the barn is full, I'm not complaining. No more looking at yellow seats.

"wheres all the fights?" says the businessman who got to his seat halfway through the 1st period...but seriously, thats one reason why i got season tickets this year...last year i would buy tickets at 3 PM and leave for the garden, be at my seat in The Greatest Bar for 545 and into the garden at 615, mind you I did that 11 times too....

I was pleasantly surprised with avaialbilty. Got right in at 10 and was able to get opening night tix in row 3 in the family section. On the other end of the row but in the row right behind my ST's

Also got some family tix for the Pens game.

On another note, it's hard to believe this is actually what you have to pay for the WORST seats in the house (last row corner balconies)-

Does anyone know why tix in section 320 are so expensive? I bought 2 tix for the Habs game on 11/5 (not a student night). I looked quick at the ticket prices because I was in a rush (had a meeting) and having just bought 2 tix to the 2/4 Habs game for ~$90 total I saw $82.50 and in my haste, I assumed it was the total, not per ticket. My own fault of course, and sure, they're row 3, but that much to sit in the corner balcony? Why?

All habs games are gold games. See my prior post about the Pens game (#185). And you will see you got a pretty good deal. LAST ROW of the corner balcony in 321was $76 a ticket. You paid 6 bucks more to sit in the 3rd row. As far as box office prices go THIS YEAR it's a good deal. Keeping in mind there are no good deals to be had through the box office this year.

Well, I'll take that back. I bout seat in the Tufts family secion to 2 different games. And I thing they were both a good value. Family section aside. All other box office prices are a joke.

I waited in line today and got to the window at 10:45am. Only single tickets were available to the following games

October 1 (understandable being opening night)
November 5 (ok, it's against Montreal)
November 10 (yeah, its Pittsburgh, but WTF)
December 23 (only single tickets available until you reach the $66.50 range - WTF, it's ATLANTA!!!!)
January 23rd adn 30th (This is getting ridiculous - LA and OTT!!!)

I wanted to punch a wall after that experience. A rep was walking by and cheerily asked us if we got what we were lookng for. I told her not a single game I got what I was looknig for ($51 seats x 4) and she gave me this faux shocked look. I was 30th in line and didn't get ****. Why bother waiting in line anymore

I was in line at 5:40 AM. I was number 8 in line, and got to the window right away. I was able to get seats to almost every game I wanted, thankfully.

There were two 19 year old girls in Lucic jerseys who were very obvious about their bandwagon-membership.

Really Good Deals

Hey guys, I found some REALLY fairly-priced pairs of B's tickets to some great games, such as Philly and Toronto. The pair of tix are also in a section where the B's shoot twice! Check it out!

This is one of the games on the list that season ticket holders can get free tickets for. They mail out vouchers for the number of seats you have on the account, and you can get the best available seats for that game. Therefore they have to hold some of the tickets in case STH's want to use their vouchers.

Yeah, true true. I wonder what kind of inventory they give us for this voucher promotion? Is it all balcony or maybe some loge? Anybody know?

I was just curious how you knew this? Not doubting it. I just haven't found a list of games or available or locations available anywhere. I looked through the locker room site and didn't find anything. Asked a rep last week and they told me they didn't have any info either. Do you have some indsider info? I was thinking they'd throw upper level corner seats for free b's...

He probably recieved his letter with his vouchers in the mail I got mine on Sat. It gives you the list of games you can redeem them for in the letter. Says you need to visit the box office before Sept 11 to redeem them. Kind of sucks that you need to do it that early since I'm never in the area near the garden. I just gave the vouchers to my bro who works in the city to redeem them for me.

In case anyone was interested in seeing Fenway hockey on a dime. I just got this email a couple hours ago. The STH presale is suppose to be Sept 3rd. And the reg on sale will be Sept 17th. Still a good time at a unique event in a historic site! Any hey, if your planning on drinking the day away I'd much rather spend $5-$10 for a ticket instead of $350-$1000!

Your Pre-Sale Access to College Hockey at Fenway Park

Dear STH,

On Friday, January 8, 2010, only seven days after the much-anticipated 2010 NHL/Bridgestone Winter Classic, you will have the chance to return to Fenway Park for a historic doubleheader.

On behalf of Fenway Sports Group and Hockey East Athletic Conference, we are pleased to give you early access to tickets to watch Hockey East hockey when it comes to Fenway Park, “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.”

In Game 1, Northeastern University will renew its rivalry with the University of New Hampshire when the women face off at 4:00 p.m. The second game will feature a battle of the past two men’s NCAA National Champions when the Eagles from Boston College take on the Terriers from Boston University beginning at 7:30 p.m.

As a dedicated Boston Bruins Season Ticket Holder, we want to make sure that you have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for this unique event, before they are made available to the general public on September 17th.

Bruins Season Ticket Holder Pre-Sale:

When: Beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, September 3rd

How: Log on to www.tickets.com/fenwayhockey.

Enter your Password (it will be emailed to you Wednesday, September 2nd)

If during the pre-sale, you wish to purchase accessible seating, please call 877-733-7699. Hearing impaired patrons may call the TTY number at (617) 226-6644. This pre-sale opportunity will end at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, September 15th.

Ticket prices start at just $5 and each ticket is valid for both games. The doubleheader will mark only the third time in the modern era when men’s college hockey will be played outdoors and is the first time for the women’s game.

Thank you for your support of Boston Bruins hockey.

Sincerely,

Fan Relations
