Won't see Koivu in Montreal next season.

Unless they meet in the finals.

And Komisarek's first game back in Montreal is on Halloween. All the loonies will be out.

Is the game at the Big O still happening? Sounds like no.

You think that's bad... Vancouver doesn't play a game at home in February.

I know, that's due in part to the Olympic break, but they have a 14 game road trip from the end of January to the beginning of March because of all the set-up involved, apparently.

No news regarding the Big O but the game on November 28th is against the Capitals, maybe the NHL just wants to make sure a game can be presented there and an announcement will be made sometime later this year

Is it impossible that the November 28th game is at the Big O, and they're holding off on the announcement to steal no thunder from the Boo-ins/Philly Game?

edit: mod beat me

Wasn't it the same last year with the Devils at the start of the season?I don't think they played their first game until sometime in November

Not last year, but the year before the Devils didn't have their first home game until the end of October (9 game road trip).

I vaguely recall something causing problems with their new building last year, but checking the schedule doesn't confirm it.

Once again we have to wait until oct ****ing 15th for the home opener. Is it the habs that keep asking to start the year on a road trip?
