Pavel gets 97 pts. Just a hunch.

Depending on the lines

Datsyuk - Zetterberg - Cleary

D = 34 - 68 - 102
Z = 47 - 48 - 95
C = 27 - 37 - 64

Datyuk - Zetterberg - Franzen

D = 31 - 74 - 105
Z = 43 - 54 - 97
F = 44 - 28 - 72

Franzen - Filppula - UFA/Leino/Hudler

Franzen = 36 - 29 - 65
Flip = 16 - 43 - 59

Cleary - Filppula - UFA/Leino/Hudler

C = 23 - 32 - 55
Flip = 14 - 41 - 55

if we end up going back to Datyuk Zetterberg Holmstrom

D = 32 - 62 - 94
Z = 42 - 44 - 86
H = 26 - 22 - 48

and the 2nd line is Cleary Flip Franzen

C = 25 - 32 - 57
Flip = 15 - 45 - 60
Franzen = 36 - 30 - 66

I don't feel comfortable making predictions for the rest, but I think if either Franzen or Cleary line up with D and Z and all are healthy, the entire first line see's career bests. If we still rely on Z and D as much for defense as the past 2 years though, it might not be as high, but I am hopeful that Flip starts to see more of the defensive match ups, as well as Helm (if he plays along side draper)

I got to say everyone is close.

I got to go with;

Datsyuk 89
Zetterberg 96
Franzen 73
Hudler 67- If he plays
Cleary 65
Filppula 52
Holmstrom 53
Leino 31
Helm 44
Abdelkader 17
Draper 13
Maltby 15

Lidstrom 55
Rafalski 52
Kronwall 62
Ericsson 23
Stuart 24
Lebda 12
Meech 6

So here s the line with Hudler

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom
Cleary - Hudler - Frazen
Leino - Filppulla - Helm
Maltby - Draper - Abdelkader

Deffence;

Lidstrom- Ericsson
Rafalski - N.Kronwall
B.Stuart - Lebda/Meech

Osgood
Howard-Could become the Starter but not in the Playoff cause Osgood is the man.

Just curious, but why do most of you guys see Zetterberg putting up 90+ points? I'm not disputing it or anything.. I'm just wondering.

In what world would Zetterberg outscore Datsyuk? Datsyuk has led this team in scoring since 03-04.

The only way Zetterberg comes close to 90 points is if he plays all season on a line with Datsyuk.

Hey guys, Blues fan here. I'm just wondering if this is the year Filppula breaks out offensively (50+ points). I've been a big fan of him for awhile now and I'm curious if this is the year he becomes a prominent member of your deep offense.

As long as there are no major additions, Flip should have a spot on the PP, which should increase his production. Also, at this point, he looks like a sure bet to play top six, either centering line 2 or playing with Datsyuk.

I think this is a big decline year for Lidstrom... I don't think he's going to hit 50. Also I think a lot of you are selling Abdelkader short... I see 20-25 from him.

He just needs to get some confidence in himself and do his thing. I believe last season he had more SOG then he did any other season, which is a positive. I think he should finally hit above 50 with the losses of Hossa, Samuelsson and possibly even Hudler. His Ice time will go up so you would have to think he should hit 50 if he's healthy.

Highly disagree... the only factor I could see that could cause him to do that would be previous injuries, but that's still very unlikely.

Because he's an elite forward with great hand eye coordination,explosive offense ability, and great hockey sense. He plays on the first line on a offensive team getting power play minutes and plays on the same team with these two guys named Datsyuk and Lindstrom. Z is a ninety point man in a full healthy season.

Yeah, I know he's a great player, but he's only hit 90 points once and seems to get nagging injuries every year, so I was wondering why so many of you guys predicted him getting 90-100 points this year.

You didn't need to explain it like I'm a 5th grade student.

He's only hit 90 once sure, but that was in only 75 games, and the same could have been said about Datsyuk last season, he had only hit 90 once. Basically it's a matter of how bad you think this year was for zetters, and I think between his regularly shifting wingers for a bunch of the season and the fact that he was playing with a greater emphasis on being a playmaker for his line when his ability to move without the puck makes him better suited to being somewhat on the sniper side of things, it doesn't seem extreme to predict a 90 point season for zetters if he gets the right circumstances.

That said, I wouldn't consider 80-89 a failure for him, and depending on how many games he makes, 70+ might be totally reasonable, although I hope he can be healthier than that.

The thing with Zetters is there are alot of big ifs surrounding this coming season I think which is what makes for the greater disparity between your view of his point totals and someone elses.

To be really honest I put him at 100 because everybody has been hoping for Datsyuk to hit the century mark, so I switched it up. I also think its about time he has a full healthy season, and he is definately capable of doing it. Z & D are going to be relied on more heavily this season as well. I think both will be in the 90-100 range, not sure why that would be a surprising prediction.

The one that puts nagging injuries "on the other foot".

And again, I put Z at 100 just because Datsyuk is the one its expected from.
