Claude Giroux or David Perron?
Who would you rather have on your team and why?

Perron. I'm a Blues fan but ask any Canucks fan about who was the Blues most dynamic player along with Andy McDonald in the playoff series.

While I agree Perron was good, may not be the best argument considering Giroux was the Flyer's best player in the first round save for Richards.

Blues fan saying Giroux. I think they'll have similar point totals, but Giroux plays a better two way game.

Patrick White.
No, seriously.
Actually, I think they're both very special young players and I think I'd like to watch them both in more detail next season before deciding.
I don't think you can go wrong here though.

Giroux. Similar offensive skills (although I think Giroux has better potential), but seems to have better two-way play.

Not a good argument considering Giroux was our best player on the Flyers during their playoffs. That's a lot considering the Flyers have Gagne, Carter, Richards, etc. Ever since he got moved to a decent line (Briere, Giroux, Powe) he started lighting it up. One he's moved on to a truly top line (Richards, Gagne, Giroux or Carter, Hartnell, Giroux) I can only fathom how well he'll do.

At this time, Giroux is probably the safer bet. That said, attempting to put all bias aside I still think Perron will have the better season.
Both are exciting players to watch in their own rights.

Perron, he could be a real efficient shot in your lineup any given night.

No. Consolation prizes: Oshie, Berglund, Eller, Sonne..
Honestly, I am leaning toward Giroux a little right now, but I saw Perron play more (good nights and bad nights). That's why I'd like to wait till after this season.

I'd lean to Giroux, but I think Perron will be very good, as well.

I'd take Giroux.
He played better than Richards imo. He was by far Philly's best player in that series. He was the biggest thorn in the Pens side all series long.
He's going to be a great player and that is coming from a Pens fan that hates the Flyers as much as anybody could hate a team.

both really good, but I take Giroux because his ceiling is so unpredictable.. it could be high, or it could be really high.

I'm going with Giroux.
However, I will say that it's a great sign for both the Flyers and Blues that these young players have already shown great poise in the playoffs.

Why not? Richards is pretty much a lock for 70-80 points a year, and Giroux is lights out better than Richards offensively plus doesn't have as many other responsibilities Richards does.
