I hate to do that kind of stuff, but Giroux is from Hearst, Ontario.

As far as I remember, he was ignored from OHL draft.

I have a feeling he's refering the J-C Lajoie / Loco Locass thread.

No way in hell that D'agostini is a better pro prospect than Fischer.

Fischer getting votes before Carle is laughable. It's a shame.

One more year and he'll turn pro, THEN people will realize he truly was a brutal pick.

I'm not so sure about that.

Actually, I'm thinking D'Agostini's role with the team this year was likely bigger than what Fischer will ever accomplish with us. I'd take D'Agostini in front of him 100 times out of 100.

Another tough choice this one, but D'Agostini edged it for me as I think his offensive upside will be just a little bit better than Chipchura's defensive upside. Very close call though.

Here's another request to add David Desharnais, the little train that will.

Is this sarcasm. Giroux was born in Ontario

I'll just keep voting Chipchura. I think his upside and eventual contribution to the team will be dramatically greater than D'Agostini's. Chipchura can be a core player. D'Agostini is more like a journeyman to me. Through a crystal ball darkly.

This one should be D'Agostini pretty easily. I'm very curious who will win the next round though..seems like its really all up in the air starting at the #7 rank

How can you be so sure? Maybe he'll prove everyone wrong. We'll see...I'm not sure what to think about him, but he does have what it takes to make it.

He seems to really hate Fischer...But i'll agree with you, from what I've seen of him, he's got the tools to be a really good defender, hopefully he can get his toolbox organized though.

So I take it you watch a lot of Minnesota games, what's your take on the assistant coach stepping down?

Fischer: has more potential then D'Agostini.

Add Mikael Johansson: people seem to forget about him!

I don't mind having D'Agostini 6th. He is not my choice, but somewhere between 6-10th is ok since it will become much more difficult from now on to agree on the ranking. However, I am afraid to see the names of Chipchura and Fisher on the list at this point in front of guys like Carle, Yemelin, Bennett, Nattinen, Avstin and Trunev? as I don't see why being a 6th D or a 4th line centerman makes you a better prospect than a guy that has much more upside. If you guys want to vote for Chipchura, then you need to vote for Stewart too to keep things logical.

Still, I admit it comes though to rank those guys since we haven't seen much of them. I guess it would be a better time to do this list after the training camp.

yup, because sometimes we give too much interest in Almost québécois (like you Hermamoud) than in our real homeboys like Marleau, Giroux, Brian Boucher who are 1242354x times better than any scrubs picked anywhere else in the draft
