Awards:
Rozsival. If he's on his game, the defense is excellent. If he's not, it's mediocre.

Alright 1, 3, and 3 were fun. But really what is the point of going any farther than that?

Do we want to find out who the most worthless player is?

Going with Sean. He gives the team an edge. He's the one guy that everybody elsewhere hates the most. He's also a good all around player and in Game 7 last year he was our best player.

Perfect illustration of why this poll should be conducted during training camp, when we at least know who is there and who isn't. It's hard for me to vote for Z because I don't think he'll be here in 2 months. But if he was, he would've gotten my next vote.

If Zherdev really played hard he'd be in the top 5 easy.

I don't understand that logic, vote for him like he's on the team. Worst case scenario, say he's voted as #10 and he's not on the team anymore, the #11 gets put to #10 and etc.

Really? You don't see how uncertainty on whether or not a player will even be playing might affect how someone perceives his value? The nature of a poll is a comparison. I wouldn't know where to begin, or even want to try, evaluating Zherdev in relation to the guys who are going to be in camp for sure. His situation, in this regard, is unique.

Is Donald Brashear really more important to the organization than say Kreider?

IMHO - at this very moment and for the next two seasons, absolutely. Kreider's development is important but I am 99.9% positive that he will not have any bearing on what happens to the Rangers in the next two seasons.

Avery. He's great when playing for Rangers and we have him for only half of his salary! If we paid him whole salary, he'd be much less valuable, but under these conditions...

Like Brasher or not, and regardless of what Kreider's ceiling may be, one is an NHL player right now, and one isn't even close.

Staal is up there already.

I have more of a problem with Grachev just getting the next spot without a vote. 150 people voted in the last poll. 50 voted for Drury, 34 I believe voted for Grachev. It is no lock that he would have won this poll. If all the Drury voters went with Avery or Girardi or Roszival, Grachev wouldn't win.

Are we voting or are we being told who is valuable?

I think Fitzy was referring to Rozsival, not Staal.

As far as assuming the next winner, I said in one of these 445457 polls to not do it. It shouldn't have been done this time, and shouldn't happen again.

I know he meant Roszival. I was just being a pain. Something about 10 emoticons in a row makes me have to be sarcastic.

You have a problem of Grachev getting an automatic spot because of the last poll? Instead of just throwing #'s out there, you should actually take a look.

Votes from last round (total 149) which is close to your 150 guess.

1. Drury - 58
2. Grachev - 45
3. Avery - 14
4. Anisimov - 14

Right, but what about people like me who voted for Drury in the last round and would've voted for Avery in the next round even if Grachev was on the list? Suppose all of the Drury voters were like me. In that case, Avery would've won the 7th spot by 27 votes.

I have no problem not skipping but it's obvious Grachev would've won.

Last round Anisimov and Avery were tied 14 to 14

So pretty much all the Drury votes would have to go to Avery to beat Grachev. Those people could've very well voted for either Anisimov or Grachev too.

If guys are winning votes by more than 3 to 1, that's pretty substantial.

To say well if everyone thought like me, Avery would've won is pretty silly to say.
