Because we want to even out the offense in the division so we can all beat the maple leaf mighty defense!

We need kamikaze crazy net drivers with Gretzkyesque talent to even think about shooting to the net when you have Beauchemin and Exelby at the same time on the ice... the Habs only have Hamrlick and Spacek as our second pairing...

Not to mention Komisarek, he'll catch Gionta with his amazing skating and take the puck off him with his unparalleled stick checking abilities. Man those leafs will fly!

If the Habs get Cheechoo I will be seriously pissed. I would rather keep what we have.

Very much like having Martin will be beneficial for many of our players.

Watch Markov reach Norris material under him.

Yes. What you are missing is that it's not because a player doesn't drop the gloves, or doesn't initiate a thunderous bodycheck after another that he has to be classified as soft. Ryder takes hits pretty well, hits other player in order to get the puck, and under Julien plays a much better defensive game. Like the ones who keep saying that Souray is a pylon without having seen him once this year or because they solely remember the few times that it had happened with us or every other example like that....

He can play a two way game, look at the plus minus this season and his hits totals are high.

Markov has been Norris material in the last two seasons.
