Red Wings Summer Prospect Rankings #1

Wings boards have been kind of quiet around here so I decided to do an HFboards poll of the Detroit Red Wings top prospects. You should know how it works vote for who you want then post who you think I should add to the list.

I think, Ericsson, Leino and Helm shouldn't be counted as prospects anymore. They are locks to to NHL-level.

If Ericsson, Howard, Helm and Leino count my vote goes with Datsyuk

So I voted for Kindl instead

I voted Leino.... but if he's not counting as a prospect anymore in some eyes, I'll go with McCollum. We need a young goalie to step up, and although he had a horrid WJC for Team USA, and part of me thinks the kid might be able to be that goalie.

If one of Leino, Ericsson, Howard, Helm win then I'll declare the closest prospect the winner I decided to include them since although it very likely the will be with the Wings it is not written in stone and they have not played more than half a season with the club. Sorry for the trouble. Poll is not doing to well anyways though so I ask If you click the thread now or in future polls just choose a prospect its not that hard. Close to 300 views and only 30 votes.

I agree...Howard, Leino, Helm and Ericsson have "graduated" from being prospects and Abdelkader is on the fringe.

Of the ones left, I'll say McCollum...
