He would do terrible in Toronto. Prospal is someone that can be effective on an already good team with good linemates. He's always had good chemistry with guys like Briere and Lecavalier, top forwards with speed.
Prospal had the same contract as Jeff Finger. TB and the Leafs should have made the swap, and let TB buy out Finger. Leafs get Prospal and don't have to pay any extra. He's moving into his "on" year, and if he keeps his current pace, he has 2 "on" years and only 1 "off" year left. Worst case you bury prospal a year from now. Finger's value isn't going to change much anyway, as he will barely see the ice.
What an interesting idea. Maybe Burke would rather have the younger defense body instead of a winger but it's a thought. I've never minded Prospal, he seems to play an okay two-way game. Plays a kind of small though.
