George Carlin would have a fit over this line:

Quote:
“could clearly hear activities consistent with sexual intercourse.”
Also, this economy sucks... aren't we supposed to be creating jobs?

Sure, under the law he sounds guilty, but that don't make it RIGHT. Doesn't sound to me like anyone was forced to do anything or abused in any way.

I'll just stick with Carlin on this one.

"Selling is legal.
****ing is legal.

Why isn't selling ****ing legal?"

Well I am a guy that lived in NV for 13 years. Where it is legal....as long as certain rules are followed. If they are not then a lot of bad things can happen.

Well there always needs to be rules.

That last part can be said about almost any business imagineable. Hell, you could lose a hand at Jamba Juice!

And rules can only be enforced when something is legal. When there is a bull **** blanket of 'NO' thrown over an entire issue, it is really just turning a big blind eye at looking at a problem and figuring out the specifics of how to make something safe within its own perameters. People ****, always have, always will. People will pay others to **** them, and people will get paid to get ****ed. To me, deeming it illegal really just takes any pressure to help people off of the State.

And in this specific case: The fact that it is legal CREATES most of the problems associated with it.

What problems are created by it being legal? Any problem I can think of is a problem simply because of the nature of the business and would carry on legal or illegal. Legal atleast allows for oversight and rules to protect the parties involved.

Same here, has to go down as thread title of the year so far! George Carlin reference is brilliant. Nice work.

Uhm, ok. Really? He's a pimp? That's about the last thing I expected to read about here.

What a job profile:

Beat writer/Pimp

I knew the news paper industry was hurting - but really?

Wow
