great skate. I know a few guys who played minor pro in them. stiff, but not as much of a brick as the XXXXs. Strong liner. Same holder and blade as the XXXXs.

I heard good things about them as well. They're however not going to last as long or be as protective against shots as the XXV's.

I have a pair, very happy with them. Only complaint is the laces that come with them are crap, but that's a very minor complaint

Same here. The laces are the only problem for me.

I've had mine around a year. Probably the best pair of skates I've had in awhile.

How do they compare to the XXII's? I just got a pair for my kid so the verdict is still out except for the laces which are obviously crap.

I've been skating on XXV's for a year and a half, they're still stiff as new and no problems whatsoever. Get fitted and baked properly.

I think the stock laces are about the best non-waxed regular style laces you can get. They don't stretch like other brands. But I use Gorilla laces which hold super tight.
