Tonight's Lineup

Hello evil Philly fans,

What do you people think your lineup will be for tonight's game against the Habs?

Thanks!

Definite:
Gagne-Zhamnov-Amonte
LeClair-Handzus-Recchi

Likely:
Kapanen-Primeau-Roenick
Brashear-LaPointe-Radivojevic

Not sure on the defense. A combo of Johnsson, Desjardins, Timmander, Markov, Pitkanen, Ragnarsson.

Gagne--Zhamnov--Amonte
Leclair--Handzus--Recchi
Brashear--Primeau--Sharp
Kapanen--Roenick--Radivojevic

Possible that Lapointe could be in there as well.

Desjardins -- Markov
Johnsson -- Jones
Pitkanen -- Ragnarrsson

Timander is questionable with a thigh bruise.

The first 2 are the normal lines. I went back to an article in the Inquirer where it said Primeau would most likely center a line with Sharp and Brashear. Roenick's line has been that way for the past two games. I think the article was in Wednesday's edition.

Roenick has to get off the sharp and radio line. He has no-one to play with. He is looking good and ready, like he hasn't lost a step. The other two are playing better but it's Roenicks doing. I would hope to see him with Primeau and Kaps

Hitch changes them so much it's hard to tell. I could see him double shifting some wingers. Roenick is better at center.

Since when does Hitchcock have any "set" lines? He changes the guys up so much, they don't know when its their turn to get on the ice.

I bet you he will put Burke in goal......

Yes, he is putting Burke in goal. He announced it a few days ago. I'm not as worried this time with Burke in goal.

I think he changes them up when the Flyers aren't doing anything offensively. He thinks the change will help generate offense. Let's hope he won't have to do that tonight.

Sometimes it works, but more often than not it just pisses the guys off. Maby that's the point.

It used to drive me crazy when my coaches growing up would mess with the line combos. I was always one of those guys who always liked to be familiar with who he was playing with.
