I can't wait until we dump Carcillo on some other team so we can stop talking about both of these *******s. ****'s sake I've had enough of it.

It's pathetically childish at this point...on both sides of the fence. Everybody just shut the **** up about Upshall and Carcillo.

I thought I shut down the thread... Good to see it just clocked out.

As for the 20 games and not giving Carcillo a years chance... for the record, I was totally kidding. I'm surprised you all took me seriously. Yes, of course he gets to prove himself... everybody on the team is constantly being reviewed by we the fans.

... When a person whose screen name is 'FireStevensDotCom' starts commenting on patience, it's time to move on.

OMG... Did we have to give the Thrashers a 2nd rounder to complete our letting them sign him.

I have had names similar to this since I joined. It has nothing to do with patience or anything like that.

Just teasing, Dude... I like to crush them some times... Nothing personal.

BTW: I didn't know you change your name frequently... What was your last one? FireHitchcockDotCom? I trust you never had FireNeilsonDotCom.

But seriously. You should stop making jokes. They're giving Roger Neilson's ghost cancer. They're just that bad.

Remember that the rights to Upshall went with him... The 'Yotes had him as a RFA or any compensation from an offer sheet or losing him after a QO... and the ability to trade him. He was a total asset, 100%... it was not like he was a rental.

By the contract cost alone, it is obvious that Upshall was more valuable (to anybody but Homer, anyway)... To give away a fairly high draft choice in a deep draft year is ridiculous to say the least, and IMO not the price of doing business. Homer panicked and gave away two assets for a glorified goon... the NHL leader in PIMs... plain and simple to me.

BTW: I love Homer on most everything but this transaction.

I was never told to get a bad sense of humor.

**No disrespect to Roger nor anyone with cancer intended... I am a 7-1/2 year survivor myself. **

EDIT: Great ROFL Copter, BTW. LOL

LMFAO@ those 2.
FireClarkeDotCom was the first one. After the website that someone(not me lol) created
Then when Clarke "resigned" I used ClarkeIsGoneDotCom until about 18 months ago or so.

Good for Gratton. He performed very respectably in this past stint with the Flyers. I quote enjoyed his time spent on the 4th line...hustled as much as anyone, and he made pretty regular work of surprising you by making plays you didn't think he'd be quite capable of. Hopefully, he is able to tie down a spot as an NHL regular...he still has a shot. He's underrated as a player, and isn't a terrible enforcer.

I couldn't agree any more... no matter what side of the argument you find yourself on, if you are getting this worked up about a trade so inconsequential you need a reality check. At worst its a minor win/loss. Time to move on.

That may be a lot easier for Concillo supporters... they will not be reminded of Homer's getting ***** each game he takes the ice.

EDIT: If I knew that that word would be censored, I'd have used a nasty term.
