Well...you guys should pick a side of the tracks...

Sens dominate the Leafs during the regular season...The Leafs Nation screams "the regular season it's meaningless"

Leafs are ahead of the Sens in the season series...The Leafs Nation screams "the regular season is foreplay for the playoffs"

Make up your minds...stop playing which ever side is more convenient to the what the current situation is...and we'll start taking the whole lot of you's alot more seriously.

I wish the Leafs would have won the President's Trophy this season. I would have loved to throw their hypocrisy right back in their face when they bragged about it. It only matters if the Leafs have done it. By that logic, the Stanley Cup hasn't mattered for 37 years. :lol

...are you trying to say it has? In LeafSpeak...it hasn't...you realize that you are lucky you posted this on the Sens board. If you had posted this on the Leafs board...you would have upset the balance of the universe...and even worse...tilted the balance of the "Force"

Anakin would be pissed if that happend He might have to breath heavily in your face for that one...

Ok...I'll end the geek talk now...

jealous of what exactly?

We can draft
We can win a Presidents trophy in the post expansion NHL
We don't rely on UFA's to make out team
We've got a couple of division winning banners
We have no overpaid players
We have a player in the top 5 in scoring in the NHL
We have a defenceman tied for the most goals for a defenceman in the NHL for goals scored...

Yeah...I'm really frickin' jealous...

Must have missed that particular "must be jealous of Toronto" memo you got.

Give it a break...

No banana for you...for one year!

Kim, what prompted that post? What don't you like in Philly. Strange post on this board for you. Quick work like in 4-5 games? I'm guessing you're way wrong.

Leaf fans go on about our European players but forget they have as many european born players as the Sens. Typical Leaf fan - hypocrite and stupid.

Sens European players = Hossa, Alfredsson, Havlat, Bondra, Varada, Volchenkov, Chara, Prusek, Bonk (9)

Sens North American players = Redden, Phillips, de Vries, Leschyshyn, Simpson, Pothier, Smolinski, Fisher, Spezza, Schaefer, Lalime, Ray, Van Allen, White, Langfeld, Neil, Vermette (17)

Based on the logic of Leaf fans, the series will be a tie because both teams have 9 european born players. What a joke.

Leaf fans are a joke.
Yes we are but at least were not sens fans. I admit the Leaf fans posting that crap is ignorant but I've seen just as much crap come from Sens fans. Not as much mind you because Leaf fans outnumber sens fans 10/1 so naturaly you'll see more crap from Leaf fans.

PS: He wasnt being racist so don't get all PC.

10 Europeans

So..what was your point? Every single european Ottawa player is a top player. I'd say 2 of the 10 the Leafs have are. (Sundin, Mogilny)

Hilarious. Please try again.

That's one.

Well let's check the Leafs (all salary for 03/04):

- Sudin: @ $9 Mil-> He hasn't had a 84+ point season in years.
- Nolan: @ $6,5 Mil-> When was the last time Owen scored 70+ points? A couple of seasons ago.
- Reichel: @ $3,2 Mil-> C'mon Leafs fans you know that this way to much, plus you gave the Coyotes Markov.
- Renberg: @ $2,3 Mil

Has their every been any confirmation of this. I really hope it is the case, but I have a feeling that someone may started off by someone commenting that the contract is front-loaded, so it's like the Rangers are picking up salary over the term of the contract.

If it is the case, then we should all dance.

I do not want to play New Jersey in the first round.

Anyone else is fine with me. If I had my choice, I would want to play (in order):

1. NY Islanders
2. Boston
3. Montreal
4. Philadelphia
5. Toronto
6. New Jersey

I guess mathematically the only team we can't play in the first round is Tampa Bay. I think we can beat either Toronto or Philly but we would be beaten up pretty good after a first round encounter with either...

GO SENS GO!!!

... which of course is ironic seeing as we have had tremendous success against the Lightning.

I'm a bit weary of the Flyers tho..we have their number but they're definately better than last year.
Im pretty sure a beer league team could score 7 goals on Trevor Kidd.

SUDIN is overpaid...

But

SUNDIN is not, he brings so much to this team, he leads the league in GMG's, and 3rd period points and hes overpaid? Id rather a clutch player who puts up 70+ pts a year than an 80+ point player... Thanks come again...

Nolan may be overpayed but hes been plagued by such fluke injuries we really havent seen a full fledged healthy Nolan since the start of this season... where he was DOMINANT.

The Leafs will continue to overpay tho because 90% of their team is getting worse rather than better. Age has really affected people like Renberg, Reichel, Roberts, Mogilny, etc. It's only beginning to set it on Sundin. Nolan is nowhere near what he was in his Quebec/SJ days.

Renberg and Reichel are overpayed..

Roberts, Mogilny and Sundin are not

Nolan is somewhat overpayed.. but he can just DOMINATE a game... when hes healthy, which hasnt been much lately..
