TBD - TBD
Donald Brashear finishes the 12 forwards.
To choose our defensemen, we must first pick our six defensemen.
PLEASE CHOOSE SIX FROM THE POLL AND WE WILL THEN DETERMINE PAIRINGS.
Place a check next to 6 names that you feel should make up the defense this season. You only have one chance to vote, so please make sure you are voting for 6 names, no more, no less.
Thank you.
Note: The original poll was deleted and I changed the format because I felt the original way wasn't going to work.
Assuming you mean the Heikkinen the defenseman and not Heineken the beer, I honestly forgot him. I don't really think he's going to garner enough votes to be in the top 6, but if anyone wants to vote for him, post a vote here.

Yes puck, thats who I mean. Ill count that as my write in then. If he actually makes the team I will take the time to learn to spell his name.
Kotalik is a consistent 20 goal scorer, and should be on the second line. No excuse for him being on the third line, unless there is ANOTHER consistent 20 goal scorer taking his spot away from the second line. And since Avery is not a 20 goal scorer, having never once scored 20 goals in his career, Kotalik should be on the second line AT LEAST.
Grachev should be given a long look, especially over Byers, and should be in the top 9, and Avery should be knocked down, he's not a top 6 forward.
Whoever didn't vote for Rosival really has their own personal bias effecting their vote. He is a good player. He is an anchor on our defense (Not a very heavy one but an anchor non-the less). Plays ~18min a game. And a big ????? rookie would be a better choice? ok.......

You make me
I think I have a pretty good idea who it was. and theres no point trying to convince them of his value.
i really dont think del zotto or sanguinetti are better right now than sauer and gilroy. but i do think sangs is a lot closer than del zotto is. i see more people voted for del zotto than sangs though...
add me as the 5th for Heikkinen and there are 2 people who would've voted him over Sauer so it could be 7 for Heikkinen.... Just figured we should keep a running tab....
Wheres Heikennan? Honestly... Del Zotto will play in AHL next year, no sense to rush him. *still voted for him tho
Del Zotto's not eligible to play in the AHL next season. It's either the NHL or back to juniors for him.
Edit: I need to stop getting distracted by the TV while in the middle of writing a post. Sorry nyr2k2, I honestly did open the window to post before I saw your post.
I'll give this poll until some point tomorrow, and then I will have one for the 6th defenseman only. It's clear that Redden, Roszival, Staal, Girardi, and Gilroy are the clear runaways with the top 5.
In that poll, I'll include Heikkanen who I forgot the first time around, and we can all vote on the 6th defenseman. After that, we'll pick pairings. Everyone cool with that?
