Well, if someone used them to make money, yes, but these are strictly for use in digital graphics.
Signatures can be uploaded on Wikipedia, too, so I cannot imagine it could be illegal.

He's just tracing them, so I wouldn't call it a straight up forge.

How is tracing a signature different from forging a signature? I'm not trying to be a ***** here, but I didn't think this was allowed.

From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Forgery is the process of making, adapting, or imitating objects, statistics, or documents (see false document), with the intent to deceive.
I'm not doing it for that purpose. It is for use in digital arts.

Just an observation, but I wonder if these players include their number with their signature on everything they sign...

Hey Nunny, would you happen to have JDD's Signature?
And I highly doubt that anything happening in this thread is even remotely illegal.

Nazem Kadri (saw this thread and thought I'd put his sig in a wallpaper I'm going to make, thought I'd post this incase anyone wants to use it):
Sorry it's not very big.

Out of curiosity, do you have a vector of that? You can render it if you do at larger dimensions.

Embarrassed to say that I don't really know what you mean, but here's the original image that I took the autograph from, if that answers your question:

Copying/tracing a signature seems wrong, I wouldn't want mine traced even if it's for fun or whatever.

Hey dude, great collection you got there - and thanks for sharing.
Could you possibly get your hands on a few other autographs such as:
- Bobby Ryan
- Matt Duchene
- Evander Kane?
That would be pretty cool, because I like to use these as a nice touch for my wallpapers. Thanks in advance.

Photoshop, I used the pen tool to cut it out then just used the brush tool on a new layer with the selection I made.

My sincerest apologies, GermanRocket7, I promise to get to your requests as soon as I can. I've been very busy, and haven't found time.

No problem, I'm busy with writing term papers for University as well so it's not like I could have done anything with them so far anyways.
