Heatley, Marleau, or Roy - Who would you want?

IMO Frolov will not be a King past this season. I just get that feeling. That being said who would you want if Frolov was to get dealt. Heatley, Marleau or Roy

Heatley would be an upgrade over Frolov. I know he has character issues but I'd take a chance with his talent.

Marleau would be a great 1a/b center but by trading Frolov for him it would open up a hole at LW.

I guess there was a rumor last year around the deadline that the Kings were interested in Roy but Frolov was to be part of the deal. Roy would be a very good number 2 center behind Kopitar but losing Frolov would open another hole.

I am sure that Frolov would go to OTT or SJ for Heatley or Marleau. Could you get Roy out of BUF without trading Frolov? You whould have to think you could offer Stoll or Handzus plus a prospect of two. Zus would be harder to move with his NMC.

So, who do you want if these 3 were possible?

I would go with Marleau.....mainly because he is only signed for one more year and his cap hit would not prevent retaining other players.

Roy is the best age fit, but I don't think he's available.

Heatley the best talent fit, but... well, you know, and he'd probably cost the most even with his decreased value.

Marleau is the best overall fit. He gives us options next year and he can and often does play LW. Not to mention he is great defensively and is the best character player out of the 3 as well.

Soooo, Marleau.

If you get Roy and Stoll goes.

Frolov Kopitar Williams
Smyth Roy Brown

Say you get Heatley and Frolov goes.

Heatley Kopitar Williams
Smyth Stoll Brown

Which top six do you like?

Don't really know about this one. I'd take Roy, but I'm not sure how good he really is.

IF Lombardi was really looking for a second-line center at the deadline last season, why would he have traded and signed Stoll to a four-year deal? Not to mention Handzus has another two years left on his deal.

I guess out of that list, I'd take Roy. I have little interest in Marleau (much less trading Frolov to a division rival) and, after listening to Heatley's recent press conference, any residual interest is now gone.

I'm certain Roy isn't available. He'd be a pretty good fit, so would Savard. Ideally we'd add another center before a winger and move Zues or Stoll.

Heatley is by far the best player of the bunch.

He may have some head issues...but winning seems to correct alot of those issues.

Heatley.

Stoll becomes a much better second line center if we have the talent on the wings. Sure Heatley's asked to be traded, twice, but if he comes to LA we win much more games.

And who the hell would want to leave LA? Especially if you're a major part of a winning team.

Kobe asked to be traded, Lakers had some really good seasons, Kobe stayed, not a single Laker fan is dissapointed./bottom line.

So long as the cost isn't Frolov, I would not mind either of those 3

Frolov does have some troublesome character issues. For one, he smiles entirely too much.

Is Patrick coming out of retirement? I bet he and his wife had a fun hootenanny of a good time over that discussion. Hit me again Ike! And this time put some stank on it!

Roy is making 3.5 million for 4 more years. That's excellent. Why on earth would Buffalo be looking to move him?

I would consider Marleau for Frolov straight up.
