varlamov. who else did you draft? varlamov is a crap shoot. he is capable of playing 20 games with 2 loses and then tweaking something. After missing half the season he then shows up for the big games at the end.
this season neuvirth is very likely to be good enough to take his game away if he doesnt stay healthy.
mcphee's public statement is that they are splitting the games and that neither will be expected to play 60 games.
Fehr scoring 30 depends largely on his ice time. He is not a primary player. The key for him is injury time for Semin.
Had the 18 team Mod League draft...ended up with 7 Caps.
The settings are pretty screwy though, where goaltenders are way more important than they should be, we start 1 per night, but they're still 4/10 of the total points, so I took 2 in the first three rounds.

The thing about goalies... two or three emerge in the early weeks of the season as unheralded go-to players, like a Steve Mason. You either grab one real quick on the free agent wire at that time, or you're stuck all season long with what you've got. There is no getting past having bad FH goaltending. At the very least, it has to keep you in it.
Of course, that's less pronounced with smaller leagues of 8-10 players compared to 12-14 or so.
3 years of drafting in a keeper league of 12 teams, and I am yet to have a draft in the single digits. In the previous 2 seasons I still managed to finish 3rd. Hopefully my goaltending doesn't melt down in the playoffs this season.
He'll play with Semin on his RW, and a revolving door of centers, on the second line. He'll get some time on the top PP unit as the man in the crease, and some time on the second PP unit (which does not play much). Solid bet for 55-60 points.
