Looking for tickets for the October 10th game in Edmonton if any Oilers fans see this or Habs fans in Edmonton who can't go have two tickets available.
Why is it more expensive getting a 10-pack than buying single game tickets?
10-game pack (including one pre-season) in the white section is $769.50
and a single game in the white section is $61.50
But the 10-game pack has 3 optimum games valued at $80.00
So if we take 3 games at $80, and seven games at $61.50, it comes up to $670.50!!!
You pay $100 more if you get the 10-game pack!!!!
All service charges are extra.
I guess they know people will try to see a few games anyway, but the real fan gets screwed does he not?
not sure if i read your post right, but are you insinuating that the bigger fans buy more tickets? If so, i've seen the inverse to be true more often than not.

I'm not talking about myself, I only go to the Oilers games, but a true Habs fan (that won't re-sell the tickets), will pay 10 dollars more per game than the price of a single ticket.
Anyone got their season tix yet? The FedEx guy was at my door today but nobody home. What's on the cover of the booklet?
Got mine today. Markov, Gomez, and Gionta are on the cover. It says in the booklet that the tickets for the December 4th centennial game will be mailed in a seperate booklet in November. Sounds cool.

Make sure to get a good night's sleep on Friday night! The sale starts Saturday at 10:00 AM for the partial game packs (3 to 10 games). Actually, doesn't matter when you get up, you'll probably get screwed out of tickets no matter what time you get in the "queue".
No victory pack this year. Sale only available online.
They're also selling individual preseason tickets that day at the same time.
Someone please tell me that my eyes are failing me: you have to CHOOSE A ****ING PACK FOR THE TEN GAME?! Man, they make this **** worse every year... And I just realized that the centennial game isn't in either of the packs. And only 2 out of the 4 packs contain any regular season games against the Bruins and they both only have 1 game! WHAT THE ****!?
I wonder if they eliminated the à-la-carte style 10-game packs to speed up the process. Instead of buyers trying (and failing) to put together tickets for ten games, they log on (hahaha), wait a short period of time (HAHAHAHA), choose a package and pay.
That was a huge problem for me last year, especially when (not that I saw) it wasn't indicating which game of my pack was the unavailable one, so I had to keep guessing.
I'm not a huge fan of the pre-made packs, either, but I don't have a better solution to propose. :/
I was just looking at those ******' service charges! 87.50$ for 10 tickets!? Are they manipulating the tickets with golden gloves or something? WTH! What a hustle! Good thing I live 2 blocks away from the Bell center, this I'll just go do business with the scalpers this year again. I'll watch the first period at home and save up to 30% ;-) .
Again, I took a day off work tomorrow for that, I'll wake up very early, be like the first in the freaking waiting area, and have the ''Waiting time is over 45 minutes'' message until 7 pm, when I finally get in with no tickets left. Same ******** every year for me, but I keep trying for some reason.
Bump all the tickets buying threads from previous seasons and see.
Same here. Im going for the a 5 game pack.. I know I'll probably waste more than I should.. but right now, I realy wanna go watch more than one.. and I cant do that if I go individually.. and if I go with Scalpers I'll end up wasting what Im wasting now..
I just find it stupid that there is a service charge of 8 dollars for every ticket.. just dumb!
