Gotta go with Dallas. They should have been much higher last year if it weren't for a string of bad injuries to key players.

No worries about taking it over, I was out of town for a few days and didn't have computer access. Keep going with it.

When I took over at 6 I acknowledged you started it. Sounds good though.

Dallas. They made it to the WCF two seasons ago with basically the same team.

Why? I'm guessing injuries. Your right I don't think St. Louis really dealt with much adversity when they finished 6th last year.

Agreed.

LA, Dallas and Columbus fighting for the 8th spot, LA coming out on top.

I don't buy the Dallas hype. They need a big over haul. Won't be horrible but won't make playoffs. Columbus unless Mason eats it. LA/EDM next.

No didn't you hear? They are better than Vancouver and STL.

In all seriousness I like Dallas a little more than you do. Turco is always a question mark but they have good forwards.

And your right about Mason but I think he is the real deal.

The Oilers.

They have a coach who isn't a complete dumb ass in Quin, and provided Khabi can play like Khabi, I see them making it in.

And yet they likely aren't going to win this poll.

The Stars will make the playoffs, barring another plague of injuries.

I'll go with Dallas too. Columbus definitely in the mix, but Dallas is much better than they finished last season. Columbus' success will depend a lot of what they get out of the young guns.

I have this feeling that Mason is not going to do as well next season.

Dallas? Ummm I don't think so. Defense doesn't look that good and Turco is, well Turco.

Toss-up between Nashville and Kings, I went against the flow and picked Preds.
