Ouch... 4 minute PP coming up for Nashville after the Hawks argued a tripping call and got an unsportsmanlike conduct call added on.

Not good considering there's only about 7 minutes left.

Stevenson scores on the PP from Sullivan.

3-1 Preds, 3+ minutes left.

Sigh, 4 minute powerplay.. Thibeault made a zillion amazing saves and then finally let one in. Bleh, all we need was for Chicago to win one of their 4 games and they went 0-4 against Nashville/St. Louis down the stretch..

The refereeing has been brutal so far. Sad sad league. See you nex tyear NHL on the O! network. That's the only network that will bid for this bush league.

what really cranks me about the hawk game was the 4 minute powerplay with 5 minutes left in a one goal game. Twice on that shift, guys held up their hands saying "it was inadvertant" and the refs were letting things go. Then Nichols inadvertantly gets his stick under a predator skate and the ref blows the whistle.

Fine, another bad call by a young ref but what happened next was inexcusable. 2 seconds after blowing the whistle, he signals a technical foul. Great job Mr Ref. The whole league now respects you. Here we have an incredible playoff race and you can't handle a "$#%$# You" from a guy you made a bad call against.

That young ref should remove his helmet and get a rug like Fraser's so everyone can go to the game to watch him. What a frickin crock. Even his Mom was probably watching via satellite and yelling "YOU SUCK"

What really cranks ME up is that the Oilers have blown many, many game this season. As much as this hurts, we shouldn't be wishing anything negative upon the Hawks since it's the Oilers' fault that they're involved in such a dog fight.

Considering the Hawks gave you 8 points this season you outta be happy with them. They have helped you more than us.

I'm glad to be done with the Hawks. We hit around 10 posts in our past two games against them. Hell, we hit 4 straight posts on 4 straight shots during a minute stretch in the first against them last game. Hopefully those posts will turn into goals.

considering you have the benefit of playing 12 games within your division against CBJ and the Hawks(2 of the bottom 4 teams in the NHL) I wouldn't be saying Chicago was a help to us.In those 12 games you gained 14 points. In the toughest division in the western conference 4 of the 5 teams may yet make the playoffs.

You're not going to get us to feel bad for you because you play in such a tough division. In 99-00, our division had the two top teams in the West. We have the toughest team in the conference in Detroit and until last year, St. Louis was arguably the third or fourth toughest.

I don't know where you get off telling the truth around here, zamboni!

It's true though, particularly if you think of games like that Kings game..

Guys we didn't get screwed because our tough division - we got screwed because of Calgary. Just one win from one of those 3 1 goal losses would have ensured a playoff berth.

Chicago's simply sucks, I know they didn't lose on purpose. And their fans deserve better.

mizral, sometimes I think you and Matts are the same person - the King of the Back Handed Compliment.

Ya, we lost the Kings game, but how many times did we pull a rabbit out of the hat and get a point we didn't deserve?
